Hey everyone. Some of you may remember me from the past. I've got a couple of Datsun Z cars, including a GT2 car that I've raced here in the Northwest. I've been involved with Z cars since the early eighties, and started out autocrossing about 25 years ago. Anyway hope to contribute something useful to this forum. Cheers Randy

Hello everyone, just figured I'd introduce myself and will probably be poking around here quite a bit soon. I have my story thus far and some pics below: My Story: I've always been a Z fan, but was never able to own one until recently I decided I would try to find an old 240z to work on and restore. So after looking around for a bit, I found a guy who was clearing out his autobody/salvage place and had tons of Z stuff. I didn't really want tons of parts sitting around, but It was kind of an all or nothing package deal. So I ended up with two 240's, a 71 and 72, and a ton of parts like 3 interiors, a couple hatches, couple windshields, 3 dashes, a 73 motor, a 4 speed…

If anyone know of a decent not to beat up that drive please hit me up. Thanks. I have own before a 1981 Mazda Rx7 which was fun and this 240Z cars look like the type I would enjoy as well if I could find one at a good price.

I've posted a few times, so I better introduce myself. My car's name is Bonzi and I am Lon. I really like the site. I have used it quite often and have learned so much more. Its great to have questions answered correctly about this special little car. You know what I mean if you've had one. I'm looking forward to getting some moral support while I try to put this thing back together after resting in the garage for the past 26 years waiting for a new coat of paint. The computer, your web site, and those great photos have gotten me excited about getting it on the road again. I will be keeping everyone posted.

I've got the bug for these z's! I'm nearly done putting a NEW engine (not rebuilt) in my 88 300ZX, have a 79 280ZX waiting to be picked up (81K original miles) and a 1985 RX-7 GSL-SE and a 1988 RX-7 GSL. I can always use helpful input about any of these cars.

Hello I just got a 75 280 and I have been looking for all and any info on Zcars and out of all the sites I have been to this is my first post. The Z I got is not in bad shape it has the rusty floors but the motor looks new and it does run strong even with the auto it has the L28 with a N47 head. I'm really happy that parts are out there for these old cars. I look forward to talking with you all. If the pic will post, anyone from from Colo has seen or knows any of the history on it please let me know.. Thanks....Well itseems I need to resize my pic a little.

Does anyone know exactly what options the SAP version of the 78 280z were offered? Is there a list somewhere on a website? The Black Pearl came with it, but was it's "Sports Appearance Package" options offered for other colored 280z cars? Also how do I tell if it is aftermarket or original SAP? Is there a difference in the VIN or anywhere else? Thanks for any answers. Stephani
