I don't post that often but I imput when I think it has relavence. I actually do have a Z (ZED) now. It is my second "72 240Z", a bit of an omen. Same year, originally painted that bright green/yellow #112, I think, and repainted black. I'm going to call her Ellenorz. Like Nick Cage in "Gone In 60 Seconds", I didn't have such good luck with my first encounter. You won't see any pics soon because there is a long way to go, but I will post before and after shots. Please take the time to read other posts by me and I invite your insight. Thanks, Larry Currence Wash, DC

i am 45 yeas old and live in the north of germany near Hannover My 240Z is from 1972 (Ser.no. 77005) and before i can start the 2006 season i have to solve my problem with a broken voltage regulator. So i found this forum and i am happy that there are so many Z-Enthusiasts like me. It is not so easy to get spare parts for the z-models in germany. I think it's not possible to get a new voltage-regulator in germany, so it should be the best idea to change the alternator with a one with a build-in regulator and make the "jumpers" solution in the wiring of the regulator. If someone has a better idea, for example to change the regulator with another type, please let me know. s…

Hello all, I have been lurking here for a couple of months, thought it was about time to join the "club". I have a 76 that I am in the process of totally tearing down to fix some rust and re-building. In the mean time, I have been transferred to the Roanoke, VA area. Are there any Z clubs or gatherings here? I was formerly a member of the GeorgiaZ Club. Hoping to hook up with some Z people in this area. Later. I suppose I need to change my name now

I have a 1973 240Z that I parked in my back yard 25 years ago. It ran when I parked it but has not been started since. It is completly original, has very little outside rust, but now has floorboard rust. I thought that I would someday restore it, but now know I will never get around to it. I just need to get rid of it now. Any ideas as to how much the car is worth? Thanks

I just wanted to take the time and introduce myself. My name is Adam, I am 21, and located in Akron, Ohio. I currently do not have a Z, but I am looking for one to purchase around the area. I would like to find one with a decent body, I am able to do engine and interior so that would not be a problem. I currently have a 73 Opel GT, and had 1 other GT and a Manta over the past 6 years. So if anyone has a good lead on a Z in my other or within 100 miles or so that would be awesome. And thanks in advance for letting me join what looks to be a great community. Adam

I live in PA not far from Hershey. I currently have a 78 280z I bought 4 years ago - California car. My wife has a 91 300zx as a daily driver. I had a 78 280z years ago and never got over selling that one which is why I bought the one 4 years ago. I really like this site , the forums are easy to follow and the information is great. Any other members around PA?
