I just picked up my first Z today. It is a 1970 240Z with a 280ZX Turbo engine and 5 speed transmission. Though she needs a bit of work, she's fun to drive. Posted a couple of pics for your viewing enjoyment... BTW, anyone know a good source for high torque starters?

Hey, I just picked up my first Z yesterday- a 1970 240Z with a 280ZX Turbo motor and 5-speed transmission. Looks like it will be a bit of work, but even now its a blast to drive. I attached some pictures- let me know what you think!

Hey guys, While I am not new to the Z, I have definetly never posted on your site before. Been around Datsuns and Nissans for awhile now and I must admit I've used your site for valuable technical information that I have needed over the years. I am currently in the "final" stages of finishing my 71z that I have been working on for about 5+ years. Looking forward to driving it as I have sacrificed many things to be able to make this car everything that I want it to be.

I've been lurking around this site for a while and finally joined today. I dont think i have any pic of my z but i will give you a little backgound on what i have. 1978 280z 2+2. Got it for $500.00 from a retired couple down the street. I hasnt run in 5 years and they were getting it ready to donate it to the Kidney foundation. The inside of this z is as nice as i have seen from an unrestored z. No cracks in the dash, seats, etc. The outside needs some work but in overall good condition. I have not done much to it. I've been working on my 87 jeep grand wagoneer and have not had any spare time nor money to give the Z anything. I will try and find some pic to post soon. Loo…

I just wanted to give a quick hello and say I have no idea how I never knew about this site before. I found it over the weekend via google when I was looking for information on repairing/reconstructing a wiring harness. My harness decided it aspired to be like a piece of KFC chicken and went off and crispy fried itself I have been reading HybridZ off and on for a few years but it does not seem as active as it used to anymore. Anyway... I have a 71 Series One 240z as my latest and greatest project car. I picked her up out in the middle of the desert in nowhere CA in 10/04. The previous owner put quite a bit of work into the car and apparently his pocketbook and MSA were…

Hi everyone, I've been an observer for a few years and decided it's time to get some help from you guys. I've owned a '77 280z and an '84 AE over the last 20 years and loved both cars. I finally decided to get my dream car - a beautifully restored, highly modified '73 about a year ago. The only issue is that it came with a Toms Turbo that ran on race fuel. I decided that, given I wasn't mechanically inclined and I wanted a daily driver, I would remove the existing turbo/carb setup and install a modern fuel injection/turbo setup. Although expensive and consuming, this was THE CAR I wanted for years. I asked the long-time mechanic for my '84 AE in Canoga Park for a ref…

After a few years of surfing your site I decided to jumped in. I am a proud owner of a 1976 280Z and a 2003 350Z and must say I have enjoyed the attention and new friends I have made with the 280Z. I think that Z people are a very interesting group of individuals and I am very proud to be a part of the Z Enthusiast.

Hi every one.I've never joined anything like this before, but I'm pretty excited about what I might learn.I own a 1972 240Z which I've had for a couple of years now. I have done a fair bit of work to the car and I can't wait to get it back on the road! I have driven it before and just love it.This is my third 240Z that I have owned over the years and I can't seem to want to get away from them. This car I have now was parked for a number of years when I found it,so there is very little rust.It seems pretty tight. The car has a rip in the roof liner and I would like to hear your opinion about getting a sun-roof put in? I think I would probably get a lot better view when I driv…
