I just picked up an orange 1972 240z and absolutely love it. I previously owned a 2003 Le Mans Sunset 350z for 2 years before selling it due to a little bundle of joy. I know that I'll be scouring these forums for information during the coming months/years. Hell, I just dropped $360 buying weather stripping, headliner and outer shift boot. Thankfully zcarparts.com's store front is 1 mile from my office...cash payments make my purchases harder to track for my wife.

I am in the process of rebuilding a 1975 280z from the ground up. This was my high school car. Twenty years later, it is setting in storage. The engine hasn't been started in about 15 years. I am a school teacher with little time to commit to the car, but determined to do it myself. I'll be asking many questions along the way.

Hey guys and girls, I have been visiting this site for over a year now, but this is my first post. I am usually over at zcar.com and I figure that I don't really need to post in multiple places, though I do really enjoy and follow many of the topics discussed here. I have owned Z cars for over twenty years including two '72s, a '73, a '75, two '76s, a '77, two '78s, and an '87 as well as a 240SX along the way. My current car is a '78 that I have been working on for many years. I hope to get it on the road this spring after I drop the tank and clean/reseal it. I live in Michigan outside of Detroit and work as a suspension engineer at the blue oval. I haven't seen too …

This is a great website with excellent information. I do need to find additional parts suppliers, either in or around my area (Vero Beach, FL; on the east coast, halfway between Daytona Beach and Ft. Lauderdale) or catalogs from parts suppliers. That would be a great help. Also, I will look in the forums, etc. here to find stuff. It's good to be on here! Ron

I just moseyed on over here from HybridZ.org and thought maybe I'd stay awhile. The formats are identical so I don't think I'll have a problem using anything. If anybody in the Stockton Lodi or East Bay area has a spare 280 motor laying around, I'd be interested for a reasonable price.

Hello Datsun/Nissan lovers :classic: Well I'm Ed, 29 years old, living in Holland (europe) and driving a Nissan 200sx (180sx) s13 from 1990. Although I like my sx, the dream is still there to own a Z one day. So in the meanwhile I will be sniffing around here, hoping to learn and find some interresting things about the Z.
