Here's an update from the ride I managed to pick up earlier this year. The original announcement is HERE Some EFI discussions HERE Today's update: Well, I managed to get new fuel injectors into my '75 280z. I also replaced the fuel pump and all of the flexible fuel lines. Boy, let me tell you, FI hose is expensive! Try $5 per foot! Anyway, after sitting since 1985, she started beautifully. The engine was a little rough at first but warmed up and accelerated nicely. I did notice that the oil pressure was on the low side, but, it moved up and down as I played with the pedal. I couldn't remember what normal oil pressure was like, so, it seemed ok. We put the 15" Boyd …

Just joined the site. Bought my '72 in Dec 2001, and I've been racing it in So Cal and Las Vegas (mostly with vintage groups). The car already had a cage and running motor in it, but Pierre'Z built an ITS 2.4L w/E31, and butter-smooth 4-speed. Anybody wanna play at the track with 9 other Z's in Sept, send me an email. stephen@motorsport-university.com

Here's some pics of my car in action this year on our zclub Great Britain club track day, It was a wicked weekend, hope you like them. The engine is a L28 f54 block with a skimmed and ported/worked P90a head stage 2 fast road cam with uprated lifters and retainers and has triple 40dcoe Webers, and also a six branch 21/2 inch exhaust. The car was only finished this year in july in time for a big show. Good luck to everyone with all your restorations you'll get there in the end..

This is stage one The car has been into a “pyrolyseâ€ oven! That’s an oven whit only dry heat no flames. Slowly they turn on the temperature up to 360 degrees Celsius and that is 680 Fahrenheit and even so slowly they let it come down. Otherwise you it could happen your car transformed in something you do not like. Its not a well know procedure but surly effective. Al the paint, underneath car protection **** and old rubbers are gone with the wind. This means you have to do the whole car as if it where new from the assembly line. New kit layers new paint underneath, inside and outside. And also the insides off the frame. A hell off a job and I won not recommend…

Hi. Ive been checking this site out for a while now, but have been waiting to work out how to get all this digital camera stuff to work!. Im 23, live in Canberra Australia, and am the proud owner of a 72 240. I drove the baby around for a couple of years, then began work on the project. Now, in an area where purists are easily offended, let me state that I love the z's shape and plan to also build an original one a it later, but for now, I've got a bit of a mongrel. The body is based on the Ferrari 250GTO, - full fiberglass, and I think this is the best looking, and well made kit of this sort. Its not going to be a 'ferrari replica' because I think thats just stupid. in…

Even though I have had this for quite some time I decided to go ahead and show it here. I no longer have the wheels I had it, my grandmother bought some old Cragers and made me feel guilty so I put them on my Z and put the nice gold Enkei wheels on my 240Z before it sold. Don't get me wrong, the Cragers are nice. I have this silly habit of naming my cars, my 240Z was Sun-Hou-Tzu (Chinese for the Iron Monkey God). My 280Z is named Miyamoto after Miyamoto Musashi; ronin warrior old feudal Japan. It runs but not like I would like it to. Body look decent and Interior is okay. I have big plans including a F54 block, P90 head, EFI in place. Stay tuned for updates.

I am a new owner to the Z car ranks. I've loved these cars since i was 7 years old. I remember seeing my first one in late 1969 as i was playing in my yard. I vowed one day i'd have one. Then there was the army, overseas tour after tour, marriage, kids...blah blah, so anyway i retire soon, and finally i got one!!! a shiney red 1972 240z for $2,000 bucks. I'll try to figure how to post a pic of it.

When in highschool I dated an MG lover and almost ended up with an MGB GT. But as luck would have it I saw the Z in 1970 and started saving my pennies. I ordered a 240 in 1972 and it came in an automatic-no thank you. I went to another dealer and again it came in an automatic and the wrong color. Zs were hard to get on the East coast and there was a long wait. I pulled my deposit again and another dealer told me he won some kind of dealer lottery to show the new 260z. He received 3 at the dealership. He took one for himself, a doctor had pre-ordered on and he offered me the third providing it sat in the showroom for 6 weeks. It was locked up. The wait was excrutiating, bu…

Ive had this car for about two years now and I am the second owner. Car is all original to include the paint and interior. No cracks, rips or other nastiness. It has 105000 miles and is equipped with an Automatic transmission, AM/FM radio(still works), AC(still cold) and plexiglas light covers.
