Ok, this last friday, I offered my GF a ride to go from Montreal to Quebec city in the Z and spend a romantic night and have fun !!! Well, she was skeptical about the ride with the old lady, but was surprised. It took us 2 hours (about 160miles, or 250km) to get there. We had a lot of thumbs up on our way, and my GF was a little bit shy, since we are riding the car, everyone (almost) sheers at the car, and I enjoy it. People keep coming at me when I'm parking the car and start to tell me story about the 1st sport car they had, and it was a Z most of the time. They don't believe how well the car is preserved. I feel proud about that and I enjoyed. I did attract the …

#6 Z owned...Picked this beauty up in Virginia two weeks ago, clean car, just replaced the struts this weekend (KYB) but other than that, it's very clean. Love those BRE style weels (Americian Racing). Headers, 72 carbs 4spd.- It even has factory AM/FM raido that works!

3/9/02....the Z rolls. Some f***er cut me off at 7:00 at night . With the high speed of the roads here in Laguna Hills, CA....there was no chance of my 72 240z stopping in time. The speed limit on the road was 50...so naturally everyone was going about 60. Some guy in a Jetta VR6 cut out to pass the dude in front of him...but he happend to cut right in front of me. I was in the middle lane of a 3-lane road so i slammed on the brakes...let up on them....dodged right and reapplied the brakes....anyone who has driven a Z at those speed and turned while braking knows the feeling...the rear end seemed to life off the ground and kicked out. The front end of my car hi…

Well, it all that looking and waiting finally paid off. On Sunday I drove down to San Diego and picked up my 71 Series I 240z with VIN HLS30-07878. Everything except the electronic ignition and radio is stock. I wired up a pretty nice sound setup too the day i got it. All it needs is a front grill and front bumper. Just take a look for yourself! You can be sure this one wont roll!

After much searching I have finally located and purchased my first Z car, a 1976 260Z Coupe. Took me ages to find the coupe for two reasons; firstly they are relatively rare in Australia, secondly they are even rarer out here in Western Australia. Now after many months of lurking on this and other Z sites I will lurk no more! The previous owner had cut all the rust out and had the body in good shape. The interior and mechanics are about what you'd expect for a car with little or no work done since new, not bad just run down. Unfortunately, it has a 3 speed auto and was painted white - both of which I intend to change in the medium term future. Unusual feature - the …

Just bought this 260z Wednesday. I don't know much about it. The former owner kept it in his garage mostly. Only drove it occasionally (about 2000 miles in 3 years). He owned a body shop, so his investment was mainly in the paint job. It runs ok. Needs a carb adjustment I think--terrible gas mileage, backfires, sluggish when its cold. The more I drive the more I love it though. I plan to use it daily.

I always find it interesting to see the cars that belong to our club members. So, I thought I would share a pic or two of mine. I picked up this car (HLS30-05341, blt 6/70) about 3 1/2 years ago. It had 69K on it, about 74K now. I redid the whole interior, which is the rare blue color. This past year I restored the engine compartment, complete with all new seals, timing chain, paint, new Z Therapy carbs, new decals and as much new parts as I could get my hands on. It has Panasports, Yokahama 215/60/15's and Tokico struts. Next I hope to redo the entire suspension with stock parts. This is the second 240Z that I have restored, and have loved every minute of it! Th…
