Hey, Thought I'd introduce myself. Name's Austin, I have the same screen name over at hybridz. I've got a '73 240z (20 years older than me) that I'm resto-modding. Nothing to insane, pretty much stock L28 except bolt ons. Fully built suspension: Ground control coilovers, TTT LCA's & T/C rods, Suspension Techniques sway bars, Bumpsteer spacers, etc. 5 lug conversion with rx7 vented disks all around. Will be (rattle can) painted white with a Z force productions G nose, msa Victory spoiler, ZG flares, side window louvers, cool 16 or 17" wheels. Not gonna be anything all that original but it will be me, that's for sure. Been at it for a year, and I've probably got a…

Floors were redone engine was real good body real good shape as in little or no rust needs paint bad and interior and i notice a lot of bondo on the roof of the car and driver side door.He was asking $7500 which i thought was high. I made a offer of $4000 said his bottom line was $6000. I walk away. I am looking for the going price of these z cars not looking for something i can jump in and drive away. Hi! My name is Nic. I'm originally from Fairbanks AK, where my Z is living and I go to hang out in the summer, but i'm also going to school in Portland OR. It seems like a lot of forum members are from Oregon and the Portland area which is awesome. I'd like to move my car down there eventually but being a college student and moving all the time I don't have anywhere to keep it down there. Plus I worry about the damp. Fairbanks, while cold, is very dry. I have a currently red, originally white, at least third hand 1978 280 (vin 430458 for those who like to keep track of those sorts of things) Which i got royally screwed over on in the purchase of but I love to death anywa…

Hello Guys and Gals, I purchased a 1978 280z a few months ago. The car had sat abandoned inside of a garage for 18 years. The gentleman who sold me the car did not really want to get rid of it, however since he and his wife were in the process of renovating their garage the 280z had to go. Here is a picture of how it looked the day I brought it home. Since I purchased it back in February, I've: Cleaned the fuel system (tank, fuel lines, pump, injectors) Rebuilt brake system Bought new wheels and tires for it Installed new muffler Recarpeted the interior Installed a dashcap Retrofitted new H4 headlights Installed a 240z front bumper Probably countless other …

I have just received a 1974 260z in pretty good shape. Minimal surface rust on the lip of the front skirt. The transmission is the stock 4 speed and the engine is a swap from the same year and model Z. The guy who I bought it from also gave me the transplant car the engine was from bc it is a great "roller and parts car" and is holding the stock matching numbers engine for my drivable Z. I have been researching this car for some time now but I am curious of what everyone recommends to be my first things to check/upgrade/modify/tune. Thanks very much and please check out the photos that I have uploaded and give me and any all tips/advice/recommendations.

Hello, my name is Mark Clapp from Kansas City, Missouri USA. I'm an individual and have been making plexiglass parts like headlight covers and windows for over eight years now. I supply several replica manufacturers like Race Car Replicas and restoration shops that restore original GT40s and Jaguars. I started out making pieces for my GT40 replica. I recently started making the headlight covers for the 240/260/280Z G-nose cars. The plastic I use is shatter proof and will not crack so rocks/road debris are no problem. Also you do not need special drill bits as for acrylic; any old bit will cut fine with no cracking. I also include L-braces cut from the same crystal clear…
