Hey all, My step daughter's dad is giving me two 1975 280z's. One has been in storage (garage) since 1996, he bough it from the original owner at an unknown time. It is an automatic. The other he bought as a parts car from Ohio. It is a manual. It is so rusted, he said, you could through a cat through it! It is supposed to have a new (at that time) engine. It didn't get stored in side... Both are complete. The stored one is supposed to be in good condition. I will see when I get it together and go up there to trailer it back. I'll have to go another weekend after that to get the parts car. I hope its in decent condition. The car he gave the daughter was in "good" condit…

I picked this up last Friday night. It's won many races and 3 MARRS Championships. I need to install some NASCAR door bars but otherwise it's ready to race. I was hoping to race my 280Z all year but Marty needed to sell his 240Z now and I couldn't pass it up. Chuck

Hi. I'm Bart. I'm eager to buy a Z car. I'll be doing some research over the summer and hopefully I'll be buying one soon because they're so freek'n sexy and I gotta have one. I've never owned one before and even though I like the idea of a 'fixer upper' I think i'm too much of a novice to be able to do it successfully, at least at this point in my life. Maybe in 10 -15 years I can have more experience and do the fixer upper route. Bart

Hi my name is Jake. I live in north Alabama. I have a 240z im working on. The car is complete down to the AM radio. I bought the car from a local man who is a Datsun collector. It is in great shape, having been stored inside For the majority of its existence. This Z was bought new in Savannah Tn by a young man who went to Vietnam shortly after its purchase. That young man never returned home... The car remained in the fathers basement until 1990 when it was Put up for sale. Purchased by a local man and driven lightly for a year. That man sold it to another who parked it in a garage and never drove it. That man sold it to the local Datsun collector, and it sat in his yard…

Hi guys, I ran into this beauty in Portland, Oregon. While I was outside snapping a few photos, the owner walks out of his shop to chat. From what he tells me, parts of the Studebaker Avanti were ideas shared with Datsun. In fact, he tells me the front and rear marker lights are actual parts from a Datsun 510. Does anyone know if there are other parts of this car that were derived from Datsun? I found this to be a very cool looking car in original condition. The guy told me his father purchased the car new and has owned it ever since. He ended up with the car after his parents divorced. Apparently his mom got pretty angry at his father and proceeded to make "art"…

Hey all, Recently acquired my first Z car, and gotta say, I love it! The car was sitting in a dry barn for years and years, before I picked it up. I recently cracked 4,000 Original miles on the car. Being that it sat for so long, I have plenty of little things to work on that keep popping up, and will continue to do so. Anyway, here she is. I have an RB25 that I bought as a summer project, then this Z pretty much just fell in my lap. I'm definitely thinking that they would make for an awesome project together. Cheers

I recently got my hands on a 1974 260Z with 3,700 original miles. Very small spots of surface bubbling on the fenders, otherwise a rust free survivor. Been driving it every day and am tackling the usual problems that arise from a car that sat for 30 years as they come up. I am quickly falling in love with this car and don't foresee myself ever parting with it. Any way, here are some pictures of how she looks now and the motor that will be eventually swapped in. (RB25DE+T) Sorry for repeat pictures from my other thread.
