I have a couple of cars that unfortunately need new homes. I recently got blindsided with a divorce that I never thought would happen. That put me in a virtually homeless situation- all my belongings in storage and me staying with friends and living out of suitcases. I am now trying to buy a home and am forced to part with some things. I have a 1987 Nissan 300zx 2+2 automatic, non turbo with less than 130,000 miles. The head liner & interior are brand new, new starter, new steering rack and power steering pressure line, T-tops are good and I even have an extra set of seals for down the road if these begin to leak. Exterior wise it is a work in progress. Some ru…

Hello everyone, new guy here. I purchased a 1983 zx last year and haven't touched it yet due to so many projects for other people. I'm caught up enough to start building myself a car, and I want this to be my best and last one. I'm getting too old and broke down to put this off any longer. I've been a hot rod mechanic and body man for 30 years and lm lost on the Datsun with all the electronics. I guess I'm too old school and set in my ways to even want to know how it all works. I hope to get help from you guys and I'll give what help I can in other areas I'm more familiar with. Thanks

Hello all. I have been browsing Z site for the last 2 month and this sight has been the most hopeful. I figured it was time to become a member. My Z is at a stage between I love it and I want to set it on fire. Time and money but trying to have it back to road worthy again by spring 2020... fingers crossed. A giant thank you to all of yalls post that has help me in the last few months.

Hello, I've been reading the forum for a long time and I'm overdue introducing myself. I'm Jon, I'm in the UK and have had my 260z since 2002. For the most part I've been keeping it in good standard shape but for the last few years I've been in a bit of a performance improving cycle prompted by a bit of drag racing. Hopefully I can stop soon. [emoji102] Here's a pic of it.

Hey everyone, I have finally decided to join this forum. I'm currently restoring my 72 240z and will create a thread soon detailing my build. I bought my 240z late June in 2017 in South Carolina and started an extensive restoration. Like most people, I thought it was a much easier task and had no idea the amount of work and time needed. Having said that, I absolutely do not regret that decision and can't wait to finish it. I believe this forum will help me answer all my questions and concerns. I would like to give a big thank you to grannyknot as he has been a crucial figure helping me through out this build and I'm fortunate to live close to him ?

Hey guys and gals, I’m a new member but have grown up addicted to z cars. Thanks for the add, I look forward to having some great conversations. Here’s a picture of my ‘75 280z which I’m in the process of painting. Also tightening up some odds and ends I don’t want to say restoring because I drive it a few days out of the week and it’s in a lot better shape than any I’ve seen around me. But it’s my pride and joy! I also have another ‘75 Only a few vin numbers apart but it does in fact need a full restoration. So needless to say I’ve got my hands full! -please give my instagram page dedicated to my cars a follow! @jones30_ -also my personal Instagram page!…

I've been around cars and motorcycles since I was 16-ish (Geez, making that about 20 years now). Had an old mustang in HS. Learned a lot on that. Discovered Japanese motorcycles and ditched the mustang. Did motorcycles only for about a decade. Later on I picked up a BMW X3 as a family man. Loved the car, didn't love the day I found out it would need the head replaced. Got a nice Mazda CX-5 which is dead reliable, but pretty meek overall. So now here I am looking for a fun car for not too much money that can keep me from piling on the miles on the Mazda. I bounced around a couple of ideas and thought I was headed in one direction. But then I remembered Z cars. I know the 28…

Hey guys, good afternoon. I recently got my hands on a 1972 240z and decided to join the forum so I can learn more about her and Z cars in general. She's an automatic and completely matching numbers. The car itself runs beautifully and drives great. I don't regret the purchase one bit. Its white with a red interior and is almost entirely rust free save for some minor surface rust in the battery area and a few other places. The original interior is in great condition. The dash is not cracked and all the gauges work. The car itself came with a lot of dealer options installed. It has the AC, Dual Racing Mirrors, Front and Rear Guard Rail…

Just picked up a 72 this past weekend and i'm looking forward to tinkering. Matching #s, 1 owner, original plates, and a ton of history. It sat for almost 10 years and only being a block from the ocean means some surface rust in most places (see engine bay). Only 1 spot of significant rust I could find so far (tail end of the passenger side rail). Still runs, drives, and more importantly brakes! The previous owner also did a glass out paint job and redid the interior in 08 (I think they might have gone darker than the original blue and i think the seats and door panels aren't original (no buttons on seat and no strip along the top). Random question. The air…
