Hi everyone! Reporting in from LA with an all original, 1 owner, numbers matching 1972 240Z. A little backstory first: The car is actually my friend's and I'm helping him get it going again. His grandpa bought the car in 1972 and has owned it ever since. Around 2001 though, he stopped driving it, for a number of reasons, and unfortunately left it to sit and bake in the California sun with ALL the fluids in it. Fast forward to early this year when he tells my friend that if he can fix it up, he can have it. And now, here we are! Everything on the car is original and, despite the almost certain death it faced by baking in the sun, the car runs again! Not very well,…

Hello.... My name is Scott and I have a 71 240Z V-8 that has been restored from the gound up to my liking. This is our second Z that we have owned since 00. Our first Z was a 1990 300ZX TT Stillen Stage 9. Miss that car, it was awesome. We are members of ZONC and we were members back when we owned the 300. Carolyn Dudley was the President back then and we miss her and Fred terribly. They both passed away, very very sad.

Hey everyone. The name is Bates, I was here about a year ago when I almost bought a 71 240Z, but the guy wouldn't budge on the price so I turned it down. Well I am back now. Since that time last year I have boosted my 2002 Spec-V, which is still my daily but it is no longer boosted since I almost blew the engine, I am now forging an engine for it. I also bought a 1986 N/A Z31 a few months ago which I am selling to buy my new 1977 280Z 4 Speed manual. Found this puppy on Craigslist, and after going to up to take a look at it it should be in my possession this weekend. It doesn't run but it did before it was stored for a couple of years, so after a good tune up, fresh…

Hello, I am George Vieira. I am 18 years old and going off to college in Sept. I really like the 240/260 Z's and am looking for one to purchase and keep forever. I have always liked older cars. My first car was a 1971 VW Camper Bus that my dad and I built. Great starter car and really great when you want to take a nap and are in the middle of nowhere. I hope t purchase a nice Z before leaving for college.

I've loved the 240z from the day I first saw it. Having owned impractical cars in the past, I figured this is right up my alley. I'm here to learn as much as I can about these cars so that I can be somewhat prepared when I make a purchase. I'm currently looking at the car below as a possible purchase. '73 240z 90,000 Miles Was restored about 10 years ago. Original color was Orange. Also would come with a 2.8l spare engine /w 5 spd transmission. (Came out of an IMSA car. Unknown mileage, turned over the last time it was in a car but overall condition is unknown besides good compression) The interior looks to be fairly.... tired. It needs some TLC for sure. The dash is in…

I have been putting it off to formally introduce myself, but finally had proper time to do it. I got my hands back on the first vehicle I ever purchased on my own over 15 years ago. Back in 1995, just out of high school, on my own I purchased the neighbors silver 1978 280z from him. He was tired of troubleshooting his stalling out issues. 1 week later with the help from my Uncle, we got it running good. All it took was a new fuel pump and a new fuel tank. The PO had his brother clean and coat the tank, the inside coating was chunking off and was clogging the filters and fuel pump. I loved this car, was fun driving from New Orleans to Mississippi over the weekends. Perfec…
