To begin with I had a great time and met some great people. Got to see some amazing cars up close. Met the JDM guys, Eric and Mauricio and drank lots of beer. That was my first national event. Living on the east coast of Florida 3 hours away made it doable. I understand next years event is in Nashville at NISSAN north America HQ. I am reluctant to say I WILL BE THERE, a year out but that is the plan. As we all know plans change. Oh yeah, some good vendors for those working on projects.......LIKE ME! One in particular is Klassic Fab. www.kfvintagejdm.com. The carry everything for restoration except for a roof. All 4 now!

Any Z car clubs in Texas or events?? I have heard rumors about a big Z car event in Austin, but haven't found any dates of information. I am near the Abilene area and would love to meet some fellow Datsun owners! I wont be in my Z , it is still under restoration 3 years in and hoping to have it done by the end of the year

Hi all: I bought my '77 in original, but non-running condition several years ago. I sorta got it running, but it's never really run well, either due to fuel delivery issues, or possibly a bad ECU. My latest round of effort was basically a total overhaul of the fuel system, from cleaning the tank, to replacing everything else. This dragged out over years because I'm sick of working on it. Now I'm moving, and will lose the one-bay garage space I've been keeping the car stored in. At this point I'm ready to acknowledge that I'm just not cut out for a project car. I need a running Z, and want to find someone who can get my car roadworthy again. Any recommendations…

If there is anyone in the Colorado Springs Area interested in forming a Datsun Club, we will initially meet the third Saturday of each month at 9AM. Location is currently the "Promendade Shops at Briargate" near I25 and Brairgate. All Datsuns are welcome. There are a lot of Zs, tens, twenties, and roadsters in the area. Please come out and see what is about. I will be at the TriLakes Car Show in Monument Colorado if you would like to talk about initial setup. Interested??? Thoughts???? Hope to see you there. Rod
