NJ Area Z Entusiasts: The NJ Z Car Club 13th Annual Z Car Show is a little over a week away! Last year we all showcased a record number of our Z cars, and are looking forward to fantastic show again this year! Anybody planning to go to the Grand Datsun Classic in Williams, AZ on October 8th? Looks like there will be nearly 50 Datsuns in attendance, of every description. So far cars are coming from six states as well as Mexico. Bob Bondurant will be attending the event as well. I know it's a drive for some of you, but this is shaping up to be a great event. You can still register (no charge) though the end of September on SOCALROC's website. Hope to see some of the Z brotherhood there. I'm taking my 1971 and 1972 240 Z's.

For the better part of a year now, the local Z car guys and a few diehards from out of town have gotten together to munch on a donut and chat about the cars we love. Friendships have formed that will last well beyond these events... We have shared parts, tools, and advise. We have formed a community. I have always been impressed by the power of community... Together we are greater than the sum of our individual talent and resources. Why is this the last? Last week I was handed the keys to our new home in Reno. I've been hosting a yearly Meet 'n Greet for HybridZ, one of my favorite forums I frequent and I'd love to invite you guys here to join the fun. HybridZ is full of Hot Rodders/Custom Fabricators/Dreamers that stand by the rule that "there is no best". We drive Datsuns with everything from turbo Japanese 4 cylinders to Mopar big blocks! It doesn't matter the brand or the look of something, if it's done in the name of speed, we like it.
