Check it out guys, were holdin another old school meet/BBQ. Tidewater Z Car Club will be holding an ALL Import Car Show. Sunday, September 5, 2010 Location – Quaker Steak & Lube Newport News at 12832 Jefferson Avenue, Newport News, VA. Rain or Shine. OPEN to ALL Import Cars!! Registration fee is $20 day of the show. Registration begins at 9:00am and ends at 11:30am sharp! Judging 12:00 noon to 2:00pm ... Peer Judging: Only Show-Car Owners will Vote. Many trophies and Best in Show. Awards at 3:00pm. Goodie Bags (first 100 registrations) DJ Music, 50/50 (Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia) and Vendors. All you mid and south Florida Z's: the Lake Mirror Classic Auto festival is Oct. 16 in downtown Lakeland Florida. This show is a mini-Amelia Island concours with an open show on the streets of downtown Lakeland. I have been attending this show for about 7 yrs. and it always amazes me. There have been some years where I was the only Z, and it got kind of lonely. Come on out and check it out. All the info can be found at <lakemirrorclassic.com>. (a word of advice...online registration is $5 more than sending in the form via snail mail)

The August Sacramento Z Car Reunion is August 21st 9am to noonish at Family Donuts and Deli - 9045 Fair Oaks Blvd. at the corner of Fair Oaks Blvd. and San Juan Avenue. I just received orders to U.S. Coast Guard Recruiting Station Indianapolis, IN. I'm pretty stoked about it too! I like what I've been reading online and the area looks to have plenty to offer my family and I. So how about the Indy Z Club? Are you guys pretty active? I plan on being heavily involved and also to complete a full resto-mod on my 240 at some point during my four years there. I could really use some advice on the best areas to consider moving to. Fishers seems pretty good, wide range of house values. My wife is a licensed Vet Tech and can pretty much get a job in any suburban area.
