  2. Hello everyone. It's my first time starting a thread. My name is Eiji, I'm a member of Nothern VA Z club. My buddy and I are planning on a little Datsun cruise trip to Shenandoah on 9/2 (sat) the labor day weekend. We will probablly meet in Centerville/Manassas/Gainsville in the mid morning, then head out to Shenandoah valley. We may go to one of the Shennandoa Park's free parking lot (Panorama?) and eat dogs/burgers, there, do a little car show (just looking at cars), cruise around on Skyline Drive, and stop at gift shop(s) to buy apple butter and/or other VA local gift stuff on the way back. Any interests? Please let your other Northen VA/Southern MD Datsun f…

  3. Started by Bruce Palmer,

NWDOA is coming back to life. The remnants of the old club kept the Bluelake Park deal going for a lot of years and with the advent of the move to Canby and the romping turn out last year we decided to re-kindle NWDOA and make it into a club run by the members for the members and to act as the umbrella organization for the annual Datsun Driving Canby Fun event. Second meeting and election of officers will be Nov 16 at the Clackamas County Fair ground at 6:30. All Datsun owners are welcome. First year dues are only $18 for calendar '06, so ya beat that with a stick. Information on the club will be updated at www.nwdoa.org so check in often and by all means come build the …

  5. Central meeting and departure place will be the Southbound Santiam Rest Area on I-5. We will be leaving the rest area at 9:30 sharp, so try to arrive there around 9:00-9:15. For you "Northies", if we're going to leave the Santiam stop at 9:30 sharp, any that want to meet up should plan to be at the Baldock Rest Area by 8:15 so we can leave there at 8:30. That will give us a little leeway in case of traffic (never know about I-5). We will take Hwy 20 through Lebanon and Sweet Home. First short stretch break (15 minutes max) at Cascadia State Park on Hwy 20. At the junction of 20 and 126, we'll bear back South to the second short break at Sahalie Falls viewpoint on 126. …

I know it's not a Z, which is why I didn't put it in the cars for sale section, but a friend of mine is selling a '74 Celica, road race ready, 18RG, 48 Mikunis, and a bunch of other stuff. Can you please pass this on if you know anyone interested, or would like it yourself. Scott

  10. Started by Mike,

Hi all, I just posted a bunch of photos from a pretty cool event here in Oregon. We all drove our cars up to the top of Mary's Peak and then followed it up with a very cool BBQ. All of it was put on by a local club = Datsun's Northwest. It was especially fun for me because this was the first time I brought the yellow Z out of the garage and took her on a serious drive. Most of the driving I've done has been around the block or within a 5 mile radius. I purchased some of the K&N Filters, bolted on the stock seat belts, and had some fun! There was about 40 people in attendance and the whole thing was a blast. As you can see in the photos, it was a beautif…
