Time to blow off the mid winter stink!! Territory will be Salem Oregon and surrounding area. Datsuns Northwest is hosting their annual mid-winter fun run on Saturday the 12th of Feb. We will end up at the Silver Falls Conference Center for lunch and a club meeting, the first of '11. Lunch will set you back $8.50. Meeting will be held around their big old rock fireplace and they are setting aside their big parking lot for "Show Off Parking". We'll be having a fun run this coming Saturday leaving from the Enchanted Forest parking lot about 10AM. That's just south of Salem on the east side of the freeway. We'll be catching some cool backroads, some covered bridges and lunch along the way. Sounds like everyone has cabin fever so if you are among 'em join in the fun......

Sunday June 13th 19th annual All Datsun picnic at Bluelake park east of Portland from 10-3. $4 will get your vehicle into the park and $8 will get you registered and fed. There will be a caravan leaving from the Brooks exit just north of Salem about 9am for any who would like to join in....

I have some photos of the Portland Roadster show. Here are some of the Datsuns involved. The two clubs did well for themselves. I was given a really nice compliment on the train home, from a Corvette couple. Datsuns Northwest and Northwest Z, as Billy Crystal would say, "you look Marvelous". Hope you enjoy these.
