The Indy Z Car Club is sponsoring its 3rd Annual Z Heritage Show at the Indianapolis Intl Speedway. Events scheduled Aug. 16 & 17. The 350Z will also make its Midwest Debut at this event. Nissan has promised us at least one car to get upclose and personal with. We are working on bringing in some Nissan Motorsport Drivers ( retired) as well as officials from Nissan North America. Should be fun spread the word!!! Just like last year the entry fee is still $20.New this year is the club trophy. This will be a traveling trophy awarded to the club that accumulates the most points. Let's hang out at Tower Shops this Friday - 5/11/12. Tower Shops is on University Drive, just South of I-595. Here's a map link They start letting people in at 6pm and everybody has to get out by 10pm. It's $3 to get in. I talked to the organizer (Mike) and he said we should take the SouthWest corner - right across from Taco Bell. It's the same area where we meet up for the annual picnic beach cruise. Why go? Because cars.

The MSA 2002 Kick Off Party was a great success. Although Dan and I showed up a little late (a few accidents on the highway and the opening of the new Spider Man movie), we had a great time and met a lot of people. The guys behind Sport Z Magazine were there and I had a chance to talk with them about the magazine and their plans for the future. I also had a chance to talk with the guys from Hybrid Z about their suspension modifications. They even brought a few of their parts for us to look at during the party.
