Hello to all of ya'll on the Left Coast. My dream Z has popped up in SoCal. San Clemente (Between LA and SD) to be exact. Could I sweet talk anyone out there into taking a close look at her for me, you know, check all the usuals? It would be a huge favor . I will be in Northern California Mid February for a month and could pick the car up then, or I might even have it shipped ASAP, if it's in good enough shape. Z FIESTA 2005 – Z SPORT’S 10TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY - Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Z Sport, the Z Car Club of San Antonio, is now making plans for a 10th Year Anniversary Party – Texas Style – And You’re Invited!!! This event will be held 21-24 April 2005. The third annual Florida Zfest is almost here, this time it will be in February to take advantage of cooler Florida weather This post is just preliminary to advice of dates (Feb 25-27), more info to come later with agenda and car show info as well as hotels, so set those dates aside to attend.

I have a '72 240Z which my brother-in-law has been holding for me for 12 years or so. I suspect it has been stored outside and it was not running that well when I gave it to him. I would like get it from there (Sacramento) to here (Seattle, WA), which is about 1,000 miles. My plan is to completely rebuild the car once I get it up here, but it occurs to me that I might as well have some work done on it down there so I can drive it up instead of working out how to trailer/ship it up. Can anyone suggest an honest/reliable shop in the Sacramento area that could handle working on my car, considering that I have not seen it in years? That is, I will have to be able to trust …

A roadster buddy is in the final route selection for a fast tour. from Pasendena area, up to Acton, across to Frazier Park, further to Ojai, down to Santa Paula then back on the 126. Close to 300 miles. So far the only tenitive participants (3 cars) are Hardcore drivers, I don't expect this to be a "smell the flowers tour". more of a mini, datsun specific iron bottom. No records, awards, plaques or get-out-of-jail-cards. just a map and a planned lunch stop. I'm going. this is why I own sports cars. I'll even take a passenger, as long as he/she doesn't cry/puke and can navigate

Central Valley Z has invited "Z" owners to join them in an outing on November 6th to the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, CA. Meeting time is 11:00 AM in the Winchester House parking lot. Admission is $19.95 per person for the house tour which takes 65 minutes. Blew the head gasket on my "other" Datsun, possibly cracked the head. Need a shop to inspect and re-surface the head, valve job assuming it's still usable etc. Thanks for any recommendations. michael
