The Sydney Z Car Club will be holding its 2002 Concours at the Fox Studios, Moore Park, Sydney on Sunday 29 September. Categories include 240Z through to Z32 300ZX with classes for Standard, Modified, Motorsport, Street Machine and Unfinished Car. On Sunday 18 August, the club was represented at the Shannons Eastern Creek, Classic CMC, Show and Shine with approximately 16 cars in attendance. The day ended with several 'touring' laps of the circuit behind a pace car. It's amazing how fast you have to go to catch the pace car when you let him get a bit in front!!!!

Hi all, I took a few photos of my trip to the V8 Supercar races on Sunday Aug 18, 2002. They are located on my personal gallery site (because they aren't related to Zed's). If you want to take a look at them, please follow this link: http://www.tatooniebar.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=3012&user=1&thumb=1 The races were great and the day was almost perfect. Only bad part was the crowds!!

And left it's mark. 350z's are shipping out to dealerships near you. I was lucky enough to sit along side a Nissan Mechanic when he when he took the car for a test drive and a gas fill. Needless to say the car runs as great as it looks. The model in question was a 350z performance model with 287hp with 274 lbs feet of torque and Silver

August 18 was rained out so we'll try again Aug 25 10 AM till around 2 PM. The show is free and open to the public, you do not have to be a member of the club. We'll have food, drinks and door prizes available. The show will be held at Suntrup Nissan, 6000 South Lindbergh. If it rains on the 25th, the show will be postponed until sometime in September, same time same place. We'll have a people's choice award for each of the 4 generations of Z cars plus one for "Other Nissan" for those with classic Datsun 510s, Roadsters, newer 240SXs or even Maximas, just so long as it's a Nissan. You should go to the club's web site for the most current information: www.gatewayzclub.co…

I work at Carlisle Events in Pennsylvania. We're looking to attract more clubs as well as more current cars to our Import/Kit show. This show is not a "Hot Import Nights" style show (that's what our Custom Compact show is all about) - this is a more vintage and motorsports oriented show. Traditionally it has attracted British, German, French, and Italian car enthusiasts. We're currently looking to grow the show and would like more Japanese cars in particular. In this spirit, we're offering a deal to attract more club support. Any club that can register 25 members at the show will receive the following for the show: Free club tent Free entrance into the road rally Free…

I know this isn't much notuce...but: Driver's Talk Radio--AM 1410 KERN is having a remote broadcast Saturday, August 3rd at Nissan of Bakersfield in the Bakersfield Auto Mall. There will be a 350Z present and Tracy Miller from Driver's Talk Radio is trying to drum up all the grassroots support he can get--both vintage and recent. I will be traveling to Z's By The Bay that afternoon, so can not offer much support other than posting this in a few places. Any Z's that can drop by would be nice also Roadsters and 510's. If possible, let him know you are coming: Tracy Miller looseshoe@csurfers.net CELL: 661-972-5492 Thanks, Steve McConnell

I can't believe nobody's posted it in here, but it's coming up next weekend in Syracuse, NY! www.northeastzadventure.com/ Probably the bihggest Z gathering in the northeast... we're supposed to have a 350Z Track edition directly from Nissan. TV Tokyo is probably going to be there as part of a spot about the new "Fairlady Z". We're planning a tribute to "Mr. K" by spelling it out with Z cars, and having all the owners sign a shirt and group photo for him :-)

OK right now we are trying to make a list of all those people guaranteed to come to the meet. So if you are going to come to the July 20th Meet then please respond. If you are bringing friends just say so. Also if you want to bring anything for the BBQ (i.e. Burgers, hot dogs, a side dish, pops chips, you get the point). You don't have to bring anything so don't sweat it. We have most of the basics down, and its more of a meet that a BBQ. Here is a link for the info on the meet, hope you can come P.S. The chances of the trip to GLD or Route 66 are pretty much gone for that date b/c they have special events on that Saturday, but we might make a seperate date for it some o…
