Hi, Im back I do like reducing my fuel consumption by 54% I have that dam engine runing ok now. I have found I need sum 30 degrees vac advance, with cold air Still few things to sort out yet (another 200 hours+++) Im looking for a computerized ign system. The mega squirt system only goes to 50 degrees BTDC Ive emailed them a month ago and no response yet. I will need to have an basic offset of over 70 degrees BTDC (even higher) and the ability to fire as late as 14 degrees ATDC. ?????? Does anybody know where I could find such a beast????? I will start porting the Z engine soon. My PC based system is ok, but its only for tunning an engine. I have still a bit more progra…

After about 4 months, I finally got the thing. It's now sitting next to the Z. I was staring at them, comparing the lines side by side. If you changed the peaked front guards on the vette for something smoother, they could be quite similar.

Hey having a few problems trying to locate a cheap pair of shocks for the time being for my 240z.... monroe and kyb have stopped producing them and pedders were looking at around $270 just wondering if anyone else had some alternatives... At this stage i just want to get something not looking at throwing in anything expensive that will all come later... Cheers Josh

Hi guys after all this time loving zeds i finally can buy 1 now i would prefer a 240z or 260z but think i am going to have to buy a 280zx as they are common and cheap was just wondering if any1 new where i could pick up a 240 or 260 in perth or any common problem the Zeds have Cheers Guys Oh and also i dont wanna pay to much have tendency of getting ripped of if wats a good price for a nice example

Hi guys, I'm having a bit of trouble trying to find a cap and rotor for my 280z electronic distributor. In searching through Bosch catalogues I can only find reference to 240z, 260z and 280zx. I know that the 280z and 280zx distributor differ slightly but I'm not sure if a zx cap and rotor will work with a 280z dizzy. I've called most of the major outlets, Auto one, Repco, Super cheap auto, auto barn and none of them have a listing fo the 280z. I getting the dizzy recurved as we speak and would like to bung it in the car over the weekend... If I can get my hands on the parts. Cheers, Bill

After almost six months trying, finally managed to get a decent one at a fairly reasonable price in Japan. Should get it in about two months time, I'm excited White colour does not suit, that will go as will the Wats, changing over to five stud. But whats going to happen to avatar car:paranoid:
