I'm thinking of getting some fairladyZ badges for my car. Which cars were badged with this badge? From memory I thought that only cars in Japan had the fairladyZ badge on it. Did they call all Z's in Japan fairladys? Cheers Sulio

Gday all, Trust you all had a good Christmas/New Years. I finally had my 280ZX resprayed over the break. I have attached a few photos to show you guys how it has come up. The car was gone for many for bodywork and the spray job so I am happy to have it home. For those who are interestedm the spray procees was 2 coats base, 3 coats clear, baked in the oven. From there we blocked the entire car with 1200 paper before going back for a light coat of base, followed by 2 coats of clear to flow coat the car for a mirror finish. I reccomend flow coating the car to anyone who may be spraying their car as it gives a finish that is 100 times better. Haydos

A mate of mine is looking for a couple of original 240 wheel trims. He has two, but would like a full set. (Wouldn't we all). If anyone can help him out, let me know and I'll get him to contact you. Rick.

These two items should be of interest to everyone. The latest issue of the RACQ's The Road Ahead reports that; "Car enthusiasts have been handed the keys to the State Library's archives on rare car manuals". I won't reproduce the entire article but it certainly looks interesting. Check it out yourselves on www.slq.qld.gov.au/garage Now, ... while I haven't had a gander at it , another site that might prove interesting is; checkitout.com.au Rick. :devious: :devious:

It has a pretty much complete -black- interior - full dash - good windscreen L26 and auto box diff (full drive train n all that) it even has the rare optioned sun roof !!! Engine did run before carbs and altinator were pulled off it. Exhaust system It has a full factory aircon unit that appears to be in good nick The only thing it doesnt come wi…

Well i haven't put this up yet because i am still getting over a sore hand fro saturday. So anyway here's the story. As you might know my car is a track/sprint car, well in the spirit of the car i was out at the last tuning day of the year at wanneroo raceway (perth, western australia), celebrating the day after the end of year 12, and was having a great day, everything was going well except that the car still has a fuel starve problem when under load in fourth up the hill. Out having a great time, caught up with a wrx, had a bit of a play, then went past him, a track car mini catches up and we have a bit of a play, and then he gets past me, so i'm now out almost with the…
