I've got an offer on my car and the guy seems really interested. To be honest, it came out of the blue and got me thinking about selling it. Please line up to bash me... :stupid: Don't know why I'm posting this but if anyone can help me get over these thoughts it would be you guys. She's running really well right now and I've just spent over a grand on new rocker covers, some plumbing and a catch can. I've also saved up some cash for the extractors I've been meaning to get but now I'm not so sure. Aargh.

Check out the competition faced by the Brisbane Graham-Robertson combo in their 260Z. Richard G's second rally event of any kind, Dave R's first as navigator yet they finished 6th overall, bloody brilliant Nothing fancy about the 260, Bilstein shocks, triple Webers, good cam, (restricted to 7" wide wheels ) the usual modest budget setup. Nothing when compared with the big dollar Porkas. Richard keeps his eye in during the year by doing circuit Sprints, nothing much else. Great work, shows that the S30 can still be competitive in any company Results link here http://www.classicadelaide.com.au/ca/results/results05/r_main.asp

Well.....I've just aquired myself a Datsun 260C! The only catch is, as much as I love it I really don't need another car right now....so I want to see if anyone else is interested in taking it on. I'm more than happy to hang onto it until I have time for it though! Definitely in two minds about passing it on. It does need some work, but really is the perfect base for a project. Here's a few details on it (copy and paste from an email): I've attached a few pics. More to come when I get it home.

It is with a heavy heart that I am offering my Z for sale. I will become one of those people who took on a restoration and ran out of steam before they finished it. The way I see it is as a student working part time and owning 4 cars, I cant afford the money or the time to do the car justice. What you get; 1973 240Z Car is totally stripped down to all components. Has been to bare metal with new floors and under floor rails Still needs a bit of rust work, but most of the pain in the arse stuff done. Car was an auto, but will come with manual pedal box and bits, plus two good 5 speed gearboxes. Parts All plastic interior panels present most in good condition 2 set…

To the Perth members... Can anyone confirm if there are currently permanent speed cameras in the Northbridge tunnel? I know that there was considerable debate in the press on this subject a few months back as there have been no accidents involving death or injury in the tunnel (so why the need for these 'safety devices'?) My reason for asking is that I had an attack of the loud pedal through there on Sunday night (boy does the Z go!) and now I'm wondering if it is going to cost me?
