Hey, I know this should go in classefeids but, since this is an aussie subforum and i really dont want to buy from the USA. I'm looking for a Passenger front valence corner (where the indicator/parker combo light bolts in) for a 240/260Z mine is almost 80% bog and I refuse to have that quality of panel on my rebuild. Ill give you a good price and pay for shipping, if you have a donor car and this is in reasonable nick please let me know. i'm also after a decent set of 260z 2-seater door trims, mine were speaker-bastardised by the previous owner and have no fabric/vinyl on them. many thanks. Kirby

Hey, i just got a catalouge sent out by victoria british, I was looking at getting a complete rubber seal kit. however when looking at the different parts and the different models, i came across a problem. My car as far as the ADR plate is concerned is a 2/76 model, however victoria british shows that my car VIN (010105) is actually a 1974 build chassis numbers (8/73 - 000001 > 8/74 060000). Or so I am lead to believe. Here (http://classiczcars.com/forums/printthread.php?t=16323&pp=40) suggests that there were two different series of chassis numbers for LHD and RHD cars. That is a LS30-010105 (LHD of my chassis #) could and would have existed aswell as mine in the R…

Hi all, Haven't been on in a while i know, but i'm sure no one missed me haha. Well i've just recently sold my 2+2 off to a better home as the guy who bought it has nearly fully restored it in just over a month, so i think it was a good move. What i'm looking for is what sort of price i'd be looking to pay for a semi-complete 240z/260z 2 seater project. I would like one that has a complete interior/exterior but no engine. This is because i have plans for a V8 install, but i know if the other stuff isn't done i'll just never really get started like my last zed. Thanks all!

I've had a hick up with the drivers door glass on my latest 240 project, door was dissasembled when I bought the car and theres a lot of spare parts that came with the car. Got it all back together easily enough but it looks like I might have used late 260 winding mechanism. Can anybody here tell me if there is a difference between the 240 and the later 260 2 seaters window winding mechanism seeing there is an apparent difference with the later model 260 2 seater doors? Thanks Sulio

Hi all, I've been trying to get some of the above bushes for my 2+2 and am having difficulting geting them in. I ordered a set of Noltec's about 4 months ago, had them arive at my local AutoOne but never picked them up as I was very busy at the time and the car was getting some rust removed at the time. Now I have the car back and some time on my hands I have re ordered them through the same place and they have not come in (more than 2 weeks when I was told it would be overnight). I have made an enquiry at another spares dealer and been told the part is discontinued???? Anyone know where I can get these from? Desperately need them to pass blueslip (only thing that I was…

Would a sticky on this topic be useful, for major parts anyway? Buyers and sellers should benefit, right now I have a good 240Z bonnet, both doors and other stuff for sale but don't have much idea on fair prices.

Guys, I got a set of flares from Japan for my ZG buildip a year or three ago, and made up a mould of the flares for various friends race cars. I made a few sets and this is the last set. They would require trimming and filling of a few imperfections (they were destined to go on a race car) but are very dimensionally accurate compared with my set which came from japan and are supposedly very close to the original "ZG Style Flares". They are cut oversize (look rough but there is enough material for the buyer to trim back). I will be doing a few sets in woven fibreglass mat at some stage in the next 6-12 months, but it wont be a while as I have developed a nasty fibreglass a…
