Anyone else just see that silver zed with the orange bonnet stripe on the car show on CH 9? seen pictures of it before but it was good to see it in motion and hear it. Pretty clean car.

Just watching the new tonight and saw in the last shot of a news report a picture of the front of a smashed up 260z (could have been a 240, but it had the side indicators of a 260). Was dark metallic blue by the looks of it. In Melbourne. Dont know if it was the car being chased by the police, or it it was one of the parked cars.

Hi Im selling my 240z VIN HS30-00325. It has the 240z badge position up on the quaters and vented hatch. The shell and panel are very straight and rust free. it has an engine(not matcing no's) and early split box. It is not running and would only suit someone interested in a project. hoping for some help i have fitted the 2.8 fuel injected 280zx motor n54 with p90 head flat top pistons and mild cam into my 71 240z it has an aftermarket computer the problem i am having is at 4500 rpm i loss voltage down to 10.5-11 but only over that rpms noticed when it was on the dyno one person has advised a surge tank and lift pump and a few people advise a upgraded alternator the auto electrician thought that it was charging correctly and losing it after 4500 rpm it is stilling running the 240z alternater 40amps rob

Ive got a '65 healey sprite, the same as a MG midget that im selling. It had a datsun 1400 motor in it but ive sold that as i was going to put it back to original(ie bmc motor). It is in primer and needs a little more work before painting. It has all the glass etc- needs front bumper ,grill and a couple of gauges. Id like to swap for a 2 seater classic zed (240z or 260z) thats in similar condition- ie rolling shell with no motor. I'm in Toowoomba QLD email me on datfreak@dodo.net.au for pics scott

Does anybody have a full 1 peaice front spoiler to suit a '75 260Z 2+2? Must be in AUS, WA pref. I have been quoted $340 for a new one. PM me or reply to the thread with what you have for sale, or if you know where I could get one cheaper then $340. Im after the full, flowing spoiler, not a lip or "spook". Thanks Chris

I bought another Oil pressure Sender for my L28 the other day, as the one that was on it was the 2 spade connector type, and my 260Z has wiring for a single bullet type connector. I hooked it all up, and when I turn on the Ignition the oil pressure needle swings to the very far right (i.e high pressure), and then once the car is going swings right back down to no oil pressure, it doesnt change when Im driving either. Im 95% sure there is no problem with oil pressure (I just rebuilt the engine and replaced everything that needed replacing). Could the Unit I bought from supercheap be suspect? It doesnt have a big bell shaped attachment on it like all the others I've seen …

We're selling this car, which we bought as a project maybe 10 years ago and haven't found the time to do. We identified it as a great project car because aside from the trim, which is still there (just taken off) it hasn't been got at by anyone! The car was delivered to Adelaide originally (which is where it's for sale) I thought that either someone on here would be interested or know someone who might be. AU$5500 ono.
