The Queensland Z Car Club is running it's annual "Luv a Coffee" run this Sunday April 17. Start is at the Roma Street Parklands (UBD Map 159 Ref K3)at 7am. The cruise will wind it's way around a mystery course (to be announced on the day) and will end up at Luv-a-Coffee in Springwood for much needed caffeine and breakfast. I encourage those who can to come - last year we had 40 or so cars attend. If your Z / K (whatever!!!) is not on the road you can always attend in your "other" car - just be prepared to explain why you're driving the inferior one!! I am coming up from the Gold Coast, so I don't want to hear excuses from people coming from the South! If interested par…

Hi fellow aussies. I just bought a 260 2+2. I saw someone post about it on here a few weeks ago as it was on Ebay. Bought it from Tassie and had it shipped up to sydney. picked it up yesterday. I'm very pleased with it, will make an excellent project car. I'll get some photos up here soon. Anyway, at the moment it has a single carb off a 80's skyline. I've got two sets of SU's, one is off a british car and is meant to be pretty good. How difficult would it be to change back to those and do you think it would improve performance much? Secondly, the car has a small amount of rust around the vents on the C Pillar. I've seen it on other zeds in the past. I will be loo…

there is a photoshoot coming up in early May for OZDAT WA. if you would like to become a member of this very friendly and outgoing club then please join us. there is the opportunity to sign up and become a financial member as well, with $50 being the annual fee. we organise coastal cruises, rally days thru the hills, motorkhanas and autokhanas. we are also looking at becoming a CAMS affiliated club, so every member has a Level 2NS license straight out, as required for all CAMS events that don't involve racing (car rallies, m'khana's and autokhanas). good value methinks as this license also allowss you to participate in OTHER clubs' events :-D there is no pressure to j…

In the latest issue of Just Cars Magazine, a bloke in S.A. has a 1975 260Z that has been garaged for the last 18 years, has lots of extras, and is asking $24,000.oofor it. It must have a gold plated choke lever for that price. Rick. :devious: :devious:

I know this probably should go in the classifieds area, but my excuse is i'm not officially selling up yet. I have a set of -6 offset 15x8.5j watanabe (i think the official colour is magnet?) that I am thinking of selling. 4x114.3 stud pattern. No tyres. Depending on whether I win the auction on my new 16 inchers id like to sell either a pair or the whole set. I'll know for sure whether i need to sell in 5 days. I have some pics in some previous threads on this forum of the exact wheels I won, but none on this current computer. Can upload these in the next few days. The wheels themselves are not the dished watanabes, but have larger and deeper spokes allowing greater …
