Hi, I'm looking for a centre console for a 1976 2 seater 260z. I have posted in classifieds aswell, but i know some of you stop over here more often. Also, is there any difference between the 2-seater and 2+2 centre consoles. Cheers, Kirby

Who here has done it? I'm interested in doing it to save money on an engine conversion. Will the L26 take the being bored out and what not? Also if i'm going to do it what other mods would i be looking at?

Hi guys, I have a copy of this magazine myself - it's great!! This article is about the all new Datsun 240Z Sports. The test car is actually a Fairlady Z with a rear spoiler and dual exhaust to boot. Hey all, I've recently fallen in love with the targa roof driving around in my mate's nissan NX, and i was wondering - would it be possible or practical to install one in to my '75 260z 2+2?? Would i maybe be able to use roof panels from a 280zx targa?

Okay, thought I had my cross-fire problems sorted when I got my new Module. But no :stupid: (at least I have a spare now) Bosch do not have a listing for the 280zx (distributor that I'm using), but they do for the 280C which is the same, i think. Anyway What they've given me is a Bosch GT40R coil. Which states on the side "use gt40 coils to replace all standard coils fitted with ballast resistors" BUT the bosch book had it listed for use with the L28. And as the L28 was only EFI, no ballast resistor. So what do I do here? I can't find any answers anywhere. Luke

hey guys, i've got a delima.. Once again i am looking for a Z car. 2 seater, i want a 75 or earlier i'm not sure if i want one that has a little bit of rust here and there, and needs a restore, meaning new suspension, respray, interoir etc etc, not a proper restore, but but something that will cost alot more in the end, but it will be mine etc, (hope you guys understand my point) or should i spend the money in the first place and get a Z that already has the work done to it, that is ready to go basically... maybe minor work needed but nothing that will take the car off the road for a few months etc my main point of this post is, people say many things about a car to get …

Which ones had them and which didn't. My early 260 2-seater doesn't and nor did my 260 2+2 parts car. I've noticed that all the wiring is there under the center console, so does that just mean it'd be a case of plugging in the switch (if I source one)? After a little incident today I've decided it'd be a damn good idea to have them in my zed. My alarm/imobiliser has been playing up lately, it'll just die, not letting you start the car. Well....the car stalled this afternoon at a large and busy intersection, in peak hour traffic....and all just as it started raining......and of course, it wouldn't let me start it again. It would have been nice if I could have hit the hazar…

i've had this car for appox 9 months, people who follow the Qld sprint racing (ie leyburn,gatton) will know Glenn Stewarts old car. It is fun but i have other projects that need my time /money. So I'am considering selling it.
