Hi Zed folks, I am building up a modified 260Z 2 seater with RB25DET motor and am seeking modification approval from the Department of Transport. In the application form it asks what the front and rear track measurements are on a standard 260Z 2 seater. Anyone know? Also, what size rims and tyres came on the car as standard in Oz? Also what does a standard Oz spec 260Z weigh? Thanks in advance Stephen

Who has used where and what are their impressions? Pleas be as honest and brutal as legailty permits PM me if its too bad I would like a few people opinions for a couple reasons: a) I need to get my 1977 Z roadworthy asap and as much as I like tinkering with it its costing me too much to have it off road so it would be in my best interest to dump it somewhere for a major service/tune/inspection. I will be having a pair of L28's rebuilt and have been informed that for best results, dont use my back yard, so again another one for the pro's.

Looking at whitelines website, the 1600 project has a adjustable caster by: the caster/radis rod is threaded with nuts on either side of the chassis mount, making the rod shorter or longer, increasing caster.. I contacted whiteline and they dont do adjustable radis rods for 260z's.. Anyone know of anyone who does?(esp in australia) Or anyother way to do it? ta

I have a 2+2 Fairlady 79 Model with front end damage that i bought for a project..ie swap the engine and transmission into another S130.. Ive come to the conclusion that to fix the damage on this ZX is too much for myself to take on. It would mean i have to cut into the wheel arch and chassis to straighten out the damage thats where the brunt of the force was taken. So if anyone has straight 280zx body with panels and glass id be happy to pay up around the $400 mark for a good example. Rust isnt a real issue but aslong as it isnt structual.. Im in Mandurah Western Australia. Id prefer to get one in WA but if a cheapy comes up out of state ill think about it. Also if it h…
