   Anyone in Sydney on Sunday the 28 September, 2003 (3 weekends away) come to Fox Studios at Moore Park where the Sydney Z club will be holding their annual concours. Last year was an excellent day with over 30 cars and this year promises to be as good if not better!! As well as Z's, this year will also include the Sydney Datsun Club with an expected good roll up of Datsun 1600's and other models. There will be judging in a range of classes for standard and modified cars as well as car of the show. g260

   My friend Charles has a post...... he can't post for himself for some technical reason (???) but here it is anyway. Hello, i have an l24 with an e31 head, mild cam, ported and polished, and a lightened and balanced flywheel. I am chasing an l28ET and if anyone wants something like mine.. high revs high compression then get in touch and we can sort something out! as i'm after an l28ET and obviously dont need the old one now!    As a few of you know I am selling my project to undertake another, if not very similar one: http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8842 The only reason I am selling it is the fact that I need to get a car road registered ASAP and dont have the finances to build two. I have spent a lot of my own time on this car as well as paid a fair amount of cash so obviously its a tough decision. If anyone knows anyone who may be interested it would really help me out.    I went to the WA Datsun 240Z & 260Z Register Show Day today. The WA Z guys were pleased by the turn out from what I hear, and you couldnt have asked for better weather. There were about 20 240/260z's there (mostly 260z's), and 7 fairlady roadsters. Met a few guys from this site also. I'm Uploading some photos to my gallery.

   Q1. How much play in the throttle shaft of 240Z SU's is ok? If I were to say I could just feel a bit, would that be acceptable? Any other things to look out for when buying 2nd hand SU's? Q2. What sorta money am I lookin at to pick up an L28? Thanks

   Ive been collecting magazines with 240/260z articles but mainly have ones on 240z and a few on 260Z 2+2 nothing on the 260z 2 seater, has any one seen one or have one with the 260Z coupe preferably a road test or comparison. Cheers

    I'm looking at selling my 240z. It's going in the local trading post probably this week. I thought I'd see if anyone here was interested first. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1973 Datsun 240Z The body was fully restored about 9 years ago by original owner. NO RUST, NO DENTS, Bodywork is in excellent condition. All badges, original steering wheel. The interior has been professionally reskinned to match the exterior. Suits the car extremely well. NO CRACKS in the dash. Engine bay is original. Car runs very well. Mechanically everything runs fine (Im not a mechanic though) New tyres, new engine immobiliser and new muffler. Period mag…

    Since mine were just nicked while my car was at a panel shop (one of 9 cars that were hit) and the shops insurance has rejected the claim, I'm looking for another pair. :mad: Anyone have any or know of any for sale. What sort of money do they usually sell for? Thanks, Justin
