So be quick, it will be a great day, plenty of track time. MY '77 complete with FJ20DET engine and a few other tricky bits is entered. Pity that the driver is not as good as the car. See you there?

Since my chassis is rooted and will cost me an arm and leg to fix, I'm considering the possibility of buying a good shell and transfering all my gear to it. Finding a top condition shell at a good price is a sorta tall order, but it's worth a try. I'd be lookin at paying max of around $2k. Gotta be straight and have very little or no rust. Good paint would be nice but I'm not too worried if it doesn't. Oh yes, and has to be a 260Z 2-seater. If you have one or know of one (even if it they want more than 2k) please forward me the details.

Hi guys, I just came back from watching a movie and in the previews they had one for the new Pizza movie coming up. To those that haven't heard about Pizza, it's an SBS comedy show about these ethnics that deliver pizza and get in comedic situations. Pretty funny show at times. Anyway, in the preview I saw a 240/260? red in colour with cowl induction doing a burnout. It looked and sounded good but it was a short scene only. Now, this show is filmed in Sydney so logically you'd think that the movie is filmed in Sydney and that this car is from Sydney. Does anyone know more about this car? also If anyone buys High Performance Imports magazine, in issue 30 there is a black …

Does anyone have a complete list of parts suppliers in Oz? If there isn't one I wouldn't mind starting one. My idea is this- -post every work shops address, numbers, weblinks, contacts etc Australia wide. There's no reason why we shouldn't include resources that will deliver to Aus as well -I'll collect them all and organise them into an excel sheet where they can be sorted by the individual by state, type etc -when I have a decent set I will ask who wants it and e-mail it to them. The collection in this thread alone would be handy to have as well. Sooo, please post all your resources:classic:

Okay.... Australia has been a strong ally of America for years. We appreciate the support in the wake of 9/11 and now the Columbia disaster. We forgive you for the Paul Hogan movies (at least the second and third ones) and we love Koalas. But for god's sake, can someone take care of the frigging Wiggles? They are taking over my house!! My three year old won't stop watching them! What is the point of having a 51-inch High-DEF TV if all we can watch in my house is the frigging WIGGLES!!! Who ARE these guys and why are you exporting them to us? Please, feed them to the crocs or something, mates.

Ok ok I must fess up. I have been researching a Chev 350 transplant for my Z.:disappoin Unfortunately, or maybe a blessing in disguise, the RTA's rules prohibit me from going ahead with this project. They have a formula for acceptable engine upgrades which goes like this... Tare weight x 0.294 = acceptable maximum engine capacity. In this case using NSW's Tare Weight of 1020 I can go as big as 299.88ci. Nowhere near a 350 Chev. If it wasn't going to be a 350 it wasn't going to be anything so I'm bailing on that idea.
