Looking to buy the following wee parts to finish off a Jan 71 240z resto: center valence panel "chin" Why? Because the paint shop smashed it when towing the car on its dolly then they tried to fix with bondo. passenger door window scissor assembly Why? Because the lower wheel is missing. wedgie striker-guide-things on doors below the latch Why? Because they crumbled. metal panel clips for door and trim. Why? 1972 z 6cyl twin carbs. Hard to start. then idles fine.. But stalls if you give more gas. If you try to rev up it backfires. Made sure I had good gas.connected electrical fuel pump and no change. Is it a ignition problem of fuel system problem? Where to start? Thanks Raff

76 280 will just shut down. Happens randomly at any speed. When restarting it will start/stop 5 to 10 times then runs fine for anywhere from an hour to a week.

I'm trying to get AC going in my 78 280Z. I have everything installed and ready to go. I tried to buy a new expansion valve but they are NLA, so I am stuck using an old one. I have four and will use the best one and keep the others as spares. One of them was pretty corroded. In cleaning it, I managed to take it part before realizing that the screw that holds the spring in also sets the superheat of the system. Now that it is apart and cleaned, is there a way to set the superheat back to specs? Every instruction I have found online indicates setting it with the expansion valve installed on a running system. This won't work on the early AC systems because the setting screw …

Guys, I have a 1978 280z that i'm having trouble charging with r-12, It has all the original components but it won't charge up. The low side won't go pass 15 psi and the high side starts to climb all the way up. Last night I was checking out the system and noticed that the ac drier has a some type of sensor. I don't know what this sensor is and where it should connect to, my drier has the sensor on it but the cables seem to be broken off, Can some one please tell me what this sensor is? Thanks

I have a 72 240 I've had since new. My son and I restored it about 15 years ago. I was driving it the other day and the oil pressure gauge went to almost "0". I've checked the gauge by grounding the lead and it worked fine. I've replaced the sender and no readings, or very slight reading. If I take the oil filler cap off and look in, oil is splashing around inside the engine. I changed the oil and filter about 6 weeks ago. The engine runs and sounds fine. Any suggestion on what to look for next? Thanks Don

Hi, Can some one please run through the path for the rear wiring harness from the passenger foot well to the back. Where does it enter the passenger door sill ? 'i assume the big grommet goes where it enters the sill? Thanks

I'm attempting to replace the flexible brake hoses on the front of my '70 240z. on the wheel side, I removed the clip and slid the hose out. On the body side, I have disconnected the brake line from below, slid the clip off of the mount, but the hose is held on some other way and I can't figure out how to get it off. I've thoroughly soaked it in blaster, but it won't move. Additionally, the new hose looks like it has a different type of end on it. Will it fit the old mount? Any thoughts?

Hey guys. I had a question that maybe someone out there can help with. So my 81 280zx has been out of commission for a long while now and I have just got it going again. But the problem is that when I rev the engine above about 2500rpm somewhere on the passanger side I hear a buzzing noise kick on. It sounds like its some sort of alarm. Also at the same time I get the break light, the fuel light and door light all turn on at the same time. I buzzing stays on except for when I am in reverse, but comes back when I shift to any other gear including neutral. Anybody know what this means?

I am getting the last of my parts together for re-assembly of my 72 Z. It is 110 red with off white interior. I have NOS off white interior plastic but they have yellowed over the years. I know that paint companies make interior vinyl dyes such as Duponts “marhyde�. Can anyone suggest a product that would work on the plastic parts as well as the vinyl sun visors? Does anyone have the correct mix formula for the 1972 off white interior color? Thanks Jerry Purcell
