Hello: Can any one help me identify What is attached to the fuel pump outlet of Beck Arnley 152-0765, Nissan# 17010 fuel pump used in 1980 -'84 Nissan 810, Maxima ???? Check Valve ?? Pressure Regulator?? Seems same pump, without this attachment, is used in early 280Z with D-jet. I'm trying to find alternative pump for my D-jet Mercedes. The FI fuel Pumps used by early Datsun/Nissan has similar specs. Made by JECS, Japan...I think under Bosch Please see this attachment at: http://www.nissanpartszone.com/compo...p-170-452.html Appreciate your help. Regards,

So on the way to work this morning i heard this grinding noise from the front right side of my car. Almost to work i hear a crunch and the car pulls to the right. I brake to check it out and NO BRAKES! I stop with the E brake and park it. When i get out the front right tire is smoking and smells terrible. Also the camber is off. The tire is at an angle. Like this \ School starts on monday. This couldnt have happened at a worse time!

What models of the Z car are interchangeable with the 1975 280Z coupe? And can anyone tell me where to buy parts for this vehicle? I need a ignition module or ignition igniter for it right now.

I guess any day in which one learns something can never be a total loss. In my case, I had the front struts and steering arms powder coated. Then I installed the new ball joints and tried to assemble the steering arms to the bottom of the struts. No fit. As the new ball joint had a larger nut and a slightly longer thread than the original, I immediately assumed a further ball joint fitment problem. A little more fiddling around though, and I determined that there was no contact between the nut / stud and the underside of the strut. The problem was the powder coat. Somehow, I had looked at a simple shock tube being bolted firmly in place and had assumed something le…

My 78 280z is not Able to turn on unless I leave the key on ON for a while then try it. My injectors seem to make a spraying sound for a few seconds everytime I turn the key. That's if I don't leave the key on ON first. Can anybody give me ideas.

I have an early jack/tool set for sale on the site, It came with a basket-case '71 240 I bought. The sticker on the jack has a depiction of a sedan rather than a zcar. My question is what year did Nissan start issuing the jack(and tools) with the zcar depiction on it?:stupid:

I have a Holley 4-barrel carb set up on my 74 260. I HATE it but untill I find all my parts for my SU carbs I have to deal with it. But I can't identify these carbs. I was told they are raceing carbs.. But I have no clue. I have to jump my car in order to start it because the choke will not work. I traced my wires from the choke on the carb to the switch inside the Z and there all hooked and have power but won't turn on the choke. I know absolutley nothing about american made carbs.. And am not sure what I need to do or what kind of info ya'll are needing to try and help me.. If you know what all I need to put my SU carbs on and trash this Holley or if you know what's g…

I have heard different opinions about this, and have been giving it some thought. I have a 78 280Z that I have running but needs some TLC. Its wintertime here in the midwest and I have my Z car in a heated garage during the winter. The temperature generally never gets below freezing in the garage since its insulated and heated during the day when I am around, and can get up to 65 or 68 degrees when I have on the heaters full blast for a little while. So anyway, I put fresh gas in it in december 1st and also add some seafoam because I heard its good to stablize gas in the winter. I got to drive it a few times this winter after all snow melted. but that was pure luck. Usu…
