I found this emblem in a 74 parts car I just got. I checked the MSA catalog and it's not in there. I googled for awhile and came up blank. Can anybody tell me what car it is from? Thank you in advance....

I am in desperate need of help. I am getting a pipe bet tomorrow and I want to make sure it has the proper clearences. I do not have a good sample to give them but I have a pipe from a 2+2 That apears to be the same but is too long and I think the one bend is too far front. Can anybody get me some basic measuremets from a stock exhaust or pictures would be great. I need between the muffler and the resonator. The bends going up and back to the muffler I am good with with. Its the next zig zag that I am not exactly sure where it goes. A picture of that and going to the resoator would be excellent. PLease Help racebird1@aol.com

Here's a head scratcher for you. I know it's a 300ZX, but I though I'd see if anyone has an idea. 1985 300ZXT 5-speed A sequence of events led to a timing belt break (head bolt broke and lodged under the cam) and susequent head removal (no damage) and a replacement of the head gasket, new timing belt and tensioner. I replaced the water pump and all 3 drive belts as well. Everything went well and the car started right up and runs fine. Now I've got a squeal that sounds like a bearing going/gone bad when it's cold. It lasts for about a minute and then goes away. I've re-checked all the belts I pulled the A/C belt (V-belt) to see if was the A/C idler pulley. Still squeal…

Hey guys, A little over a week ago I started up my Z for the first time in about 7 days. After driving for less than 10 min, I noticed that she was quickly overheating. So I pulled over and carefully popped my radiator cap. Whaddya know! I couldn't see any coolant. After waiting about 30 min, I started refilling w/water and found I was about a gallon low! So ever since then I have been refilling it before I take it out. How much goes in depends on how long it's been sitting, but it's a pretty good leak. I immediately located the leak, but with work and finals I haven't been able to address it yet. Early next week I'll have plenty of time, so I was hoping you guys could…

Close to finishing the restore on my Z and I find the hatch glass in mine is dead - meaning the rear defogger will not work. I have power to the window but the grid is dead. So I'm searching for a replacement. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.

Hello! I am working on a '78 280z that my grandmother is selling. Currently it will start, run, and drive just fine, but only if I take a vacuum line off and put some gas in the manifold. Otherwise it just cranks. It's a fuel injected car. Anything that will point me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated. As I said, It's Granny's car, so I'm not very familiar with it (even though I love Z's). Thanks!

For as long as I have had my car (over a year) there has never been any kind of warm air to come out of the vents. You turn on the heater/AC blower and it blows whatever air temp it is outside. After the car has been running for an eternity, the air coming out of the vents will turn about as warm as a summer breeze (not even close to warm). This being the case, I don't actually know what is preventing it from working correctly. The AC works great in the summer. Anyway, I have ruled some things out. First, I don't think it's the heater core. No liquid has ever spattered onto my windshield or onto the floor. The hoses running from the radiator to my heater core are …

I just removed the 79 ZX dizzy that I installed. I realized that the vacuum advance wasn't working right, which was limiting me to about 4,200 rpm's. The plan was just a real good cleaning and put it back together. I thought the advance would work if I just gave it a good cleaning, but....the breaker plate appears to be damaged (all of the ball bearing "carriers" are broken), and the plastic sleeve on the shaft end is broken. Does anyone sell a rebuild kit for these dizzy's? Also, the link at atlantic Z for rebuilding these seems to suggest you can get by without the ball bearings if you use lithium lube. Does that sound right?

Does anyone know how much pressure it takes to get the rear brake proportioning valve to open? I am trying to flush and clean the lines going to the rear brakes. I am using a 60cc syringe to force fluid thru but it won't go. So I'm thinking that I just cannot generate enough pressure to open the valve or its very blocked with crud. M/S is not installed as yet. Fittings on the valve are so tight I can't get them off. Mike
