I own a 72 240z with Tokico HP struts & springs and I'm interested in buying the Sport MAX 16 x 8 Wheels now on the Motorsport website (see attached). They are saying they will fit with no mods but several of my fellow Ontario Z Club members say I will need to modify the spring seat and maybe the fenders. Has anyone bought these wheels for a 72', and what was your experience? Thanks

My turn signal arm just started "clicking" when I turn the steering wheel, in other words when backing the car out and turning the wheel left or right the arm or lever will move just a bit and click. Any idea what this is? Before I opened the steering cowl cover I thought I would ask you guys to see if anyone else has ever had this issue. Thanks, Randy PS....its a 1971 240Z

I was gonna give my car a tune up today only to find out that 3 of my plugs had oil on them. the other 3 were all black and sooty. Which means that its running too rich right? And the other 3 with oil means that my piston rings are worn right? If so, which would be better to do: get the old l24 engine fixed? or buy a newer l28? I would rather get the l24 fixed but if the cost is equal to getting an l28, might as well upgrade then.

I've been driving my 78' 280z w/o problems for a while (even with a small fuel leak) and today I drove to work and couldn't start the car a few hours later, It would turn over but not start. I thought I'd ran out of gas by being lazy and having a low tank and letting it sit for 3 days. I filled the car with 3 gal of gas to get me to a gas station to fill it up but it still won't start. I hear the fuel pump when the key is in but I don't know what the problem is. I searched the forums and checked the fuses but I still can't figure it out. Im not sure if the filter has gone and that is causing the problem or if the fuel pump is just crapped out. Anyone have any suggestion…

Ok, I was noticing my brakes were spongy and everything, so I asked around and decided it was the master cylinder. My pedal wopuld go to the floor, etc. So I replaced the master cylinder. And before I bled the system, I wanted to see how the brakes were doing, and they were doing the same thing. Slowly go to the floor with kind of a squealing sound. I figured that maybe I needed to turn the car on for it to work, and the pedal went to the floor with zero resistence. So I bled the system. And nothing has changed except my filthy brake fluid is now more clear with the addtition of fresher fluid. The brakes dont work at all. I had someone push the brakes and I narrowed the…

Hey guys, I was hoping you could help me out. I'm getting a '83 L28ET and it's missing some parts. Mainly the intake and manifold and a pulley for the belt. I'm pretty sure the distributer can be swapped over, but I figure I'd ask about that too. And.. He said something about a distributor shaft? I've never heard of that before, so.. would my L26 have one? Thanks guys!

I love this '78 coupe and want to buy the wrap around weld up replacements, do I have to go to a frame straightener joint or just jack it up and go for it? Bad enough that it's hard to get her in reverse. Thanks. Scotty
