Can anyone give me advise on installing the molding around the rear hatch. I just brought my 77 Z home from the bodyshop and am in the process of installing all new rubber molding. I installed the inner and out rear hatch molding with all new rubber. Now the hatch door will not close all the way down flush with the side panels. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

I have just completed a resto joe, & I cant find the L/ & R/ side vent/louvers, That go between the door glass, & the Quater glass, They are black, plastic panels. Does anyone have any Idea where I can go to find these parts. I have been searching for sooo long. The car is a 1983 280zx. Please help if you can. Thanks, Rotty...

Ok I need some immediate help. I own a 76 280z 5 speed transmission, the transmission is making a lot of screeching noise, which I know it is die'n for some fluid. However I dont know who or what changed the tranny fluid before I had it but the fill plug on the side of the transmission is horribly stripped. Does any one have any ideas of getting this off.:tapemouth :mad:

Long story/short-bought 77-280z FI 5 sp that sat in barn for 7 years- fired up and ran ok when i got her home (changed all tune up items incld draing fuel tank, bought new injectors/injector wires and plug wires etc) rev to redine fine, (about a month ago) but now that i am ready to tag/drive (body work done for now) she starts and idles fine, revs to 2-3000rpm great but above 3000rpm the motor acts like the fuel supply or electrical is getting turned off every second, sounds like i am reving her up then letting off in a fast way, vroom, vroom, vroom etc but i am holding the pedal steady. Good Morning All. I Am Needing Some Help On Installing My Fuel Tank And All The Hoses On My 240z Is There Aspecial Order In Which The Hoses Have To Be Put On Including The Fill Neck ? I Have Attempted This Twice Now And Have Trouble With Space For My Hand To Reach . Any Ideas Would Be Greatly Appreciated . (i Have All New Factory Hoses And Fill Neck , The Tank Was Boild Out And Everything Is Clean )

Well as some of you may have read I picked a "72 Z a few weeks back. The car sat for 5 years in a garage. I got it towed home changed all the fluids, got a new cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter. The car started right up and ran great. I drove it for about 5 miles and it was running like a dream. Then it was like someone flipped the "run like $^!# switch". First the car started to really hesitate and fall on it face under part throttle, then it started to back fire under throttle. So I found one sweet deal in my Z for 200 bucks. The thing is I'm currently an autobody student so I wanted a car that I could use as a project. Thus the Z. After my autobody classes are over I'm going to go into automotive itself. Anyway thats brief history on my Z. Its a 1978 280 and I'm having to replace the head but as I'm doing it I'm running into alot of problems. Heres some so far. I broke the throttle return spring cuz it was rusted out. Various bolts and nuts have been broke/rounded But the biggest problem is the EGR Valve. I bent the piping going from it into the exhaust manafold trying to the pipe off so I could get the exhaust off the head. I'm thinking about …

Yesterday, the linkage arm fell off of my wiper motor, and in all the rain and cold, wasn't able to find any parts that fell off into the cowl area. I am just going to drive my 2nd car, and was wondering where I should purchase the parts necessary to attach the arm back onto the motor. Essentially I want to buy new (if possible) all parts that connect the motor and the linkage arm. Not sure what this entails at this point. I noticed that neither MSA or Dragon have any of these parts listed in their mag's....are these parts normally purchased at the Nissan dealership? If so, so I don't have to go down to the dealership in person, can anyone tell me what the part numbers …
