Hi, we import Classic Cars from California and have been into them for years. We heard about a product called Rust Bullet, a new rust prevention product, and decided to try it for ourselves. We loved it so much we have imported it from America!! An LA inventor designed Rust Bullet to protect U.S. Air Force jet wingtips from abrasion during flight. It is now used on everything from cars to ships. Rust Bullet requires no preparation, just 2 coats to clean or rusty metal. As an excellent adhesion it doesn’t peel or blister away and can be painted over. It resists mechanical abuse, chemicals, abrasions, UV & weather in all climates and below seawater. It has been tested…

Hey guys,im in my first class of the morning, and im in trouble. Last night me and my pal got the Z running like a champ, took it for a spin and all was well, after fixing up some links and some wiring, it magically runs again! well today i think i made a major discovery. While we where working i had the steering console off, exposing all the wiring. Now, this wiring was moved around quite a bit while we worked on it, not intentionally. This morning i saw it fit to take the Z to school, but i started noticing somthing on the last few left turns i took, the car was begining to die out, just like that night it happened the first time....and if i think back, it happened on a…

This past weekend I let my friend drive my 260z and he is not the best at manual shift. Now when I let the clutch out it shutters a little bit. Is it my clutch or something else? If its the clutch any ideas what a new upgraded clutch kit cost? Chris

Guys, Hi again, and heres where im at. My '72 shell is stripped down to rolling shell, with the exception of fuel/brake lines, brake booster and a few misc. parts. Interior is out except E-brake. My shell has been at the garage for some time, waiting for 'the welder guy' to come back. I got zedd findings floors/supports/frame rails/rockers. Once they are in, im good to start the prep work.. Heres what happened...I sandblasted the bottom half to get the black stuff (por-15 or some other tough coating) out from where the welding needs to be done. I blasted inside the car, and after when i was done, the e-brake was stuck. The button is pushed in and it moves up and down, a…

Since winter is coming on I need to start figuring out what is wrong with the heating system in our 76 280Z 2+2. The fan switch works great, but the air will only blow out of the vents in the front of the dash, neither the defroster or floor vents will work. I have examined the switch linkages and everything seems to be hooked up properly and functions normally. The other issue I am having is that the air that does blow out does not seem to have any trace of heat in it no matter how warm the engine is. If anyone can help with either of these issues or point me to a thread I would appreciate it! Gary

I'm going to look at a '78 280z that has a 280zx engine. The owner says he has the original engine but it needs to be rebuilt and the zx engine that is in it runs great. Anyone think of an issue here? BTW I'm looking for a fun daily (or otherwise driver) and not to build a show car. I've never owned a Z before and am trying to make the leap. Oh yeah - this Z also just got a shiny new paint job which also makes me suspicious....

Hey everyone, When I push down on my brake pedal, it has pressure almost all the way and then it just falls out of pressure and collapses. I have no oil in the lines and the brake master cylinder is brand new. So basically lines and BMC are new with no oil. Is this normal or is something wrong. The only pedal I have as of now is only the air from the Brake Booster. Can someone help. This is the only thing keeping me from driving my car after 2 years. Thanks Saro

Hi Guys, While my '72 is in the shop getting new floors/rails, I found a donor car, and the seats in it are in nice shape. After I cleaned them up, I noticed some slight overspray (red) on the sides (door sides of course). I went so far as to take some varsol and superfine steel wool and gave it some light scrubbing, but I ended it there before I did any damage, and thought I'd ask the pro's. Does anyone have an idea on how to get it off? I think black vinyl paint might be a last resort, but I'd rather try and get it off first. Thanks, Zak

I know how anal these cars are about air leaks and such, I was just wondering if I put a breather filter on the valve cover outlet would it make the car run bad or will the idle stay the same. I was thinking it would be like taking off the oil cap while the car is running. Thanks
