I am trying to put my heater control in order and I have not been able to locate another 240-280z in Turkey for reference . I need to know what all the three controls do,so I can install the cables at their correct locations.

i need the jet needle and the nozzel asabling for the two hitachi catburetters from my 1971 240Z ,has anybody this for sale ore know a place where i can order this.in the repair kit that i have are only gaskets and other parts.bot not this?? THANKS

I only drive this car for pleasure, usually a late afternoon / dusk cruise thru the canyons, and noticed something while out testing new front springs today..the old headlight harness thread prompted me to check out my lighting and sure enough the problem only happens when the lights are on... So i came home, pulled the tires, then the headlights, running lights and turn signal lights to inspect, all the harness covers are old of course, so i cleaned & re covered them, cleaned and lubed the plugs etc.. but when I got to the side marker lights, both were in bad shape...looking as if they were filling up with water at least 1/2 way..based on the rust marks..which corode…

Here's an idear Take a 2 litre coke bottle and cut it in half. Put a rubber diaphram (air tight) over the cut end. Aim neck carefully at a candle and tap it with a few fingers, acording to the web site at http://www.cs.wits.ac.za/~jon/science/experiments/ you can put out a candle at upto 2m because it generates a vortex this web site has sum good things to try "put 3 drops of NACO4 with ....... and Run" So im thinking ........got piles of junk around Im so lazy ........slack .....got no money.....and the rest..... Looked at a 71 z in hemmings in attlboro Mass just wanted to tell you guys dont even bother classic "mop and glow job "before i looked asked if there was any rust he said no -I think he thought i said dust -

Ok I found a '72 240 has been rust repaired and repainted should i stay away or should I look at it a little closer to see if it was done profesionally im still waiting for pics and more expliation its the "guy selling it for his friend " situation I did ask if I could talk to the body shop so opinons please --should I stay away ? or keep looking what besides the obvious do I need to ask about the rust repair ??

Im looking at a green '72z (see my other posts) it has a rust color interior but whats unusual is that the tops of the seats-- back and the base --are white and the sides are rust color. The car was originaly sold in alaska is this a custum job or factory?? just curious

My name is Camilo and i´m probably the only member from Colombia, i have a 1980 280zx 2+2 in good condition, i bought it 3 months ago and i´m triying to restore it, wich it is really hard here, because there is no junkyards and the dealers of Nissan have datsun parts no more... i´m wondering if you guys know if there is a nissan dealer in Montana where i have a friend who could buy for me the emblems and other things i would really apreciate any information!!! Hi everyone new here and looking for a little help. IM looking for (I know everyone wants the same thing) any way a good driver quality or aliitle above 72,73 240 or an early 260 not concerned with #'s matching just rust would like a solid car and I lean toward green but im open to any color and i preffer stock but still open minded Im in central massachusetts ---thanks any help will be appriciated

I am looking to purchase a 240z and have a couple of questions: 1) How difficult/expensive is it to replace an automatic transmission in a 1972 model with a 5 speed manual? 2) Is it difficult to find "clean" dashes for 240s for replacement? How many $$?

Ok well as i was screwin around with my Z today i had to move it several times. Over time i noticed that the starter started to slow down and slowdown . Then when i finally had to pull it back into my yard she cranked really fast then slowed down acting like the battery was dead. So i went over, looked over all the connections, cleaned em and still no luck. I hooked up a battery charger and it did nothing. So i put in one of my spare starters and solenoid off my parts car.. which i KNEW worked. I mounted it, wired it all up went to crank it and the same damn thing happened... Any suggestions hear?
