Hey guys, I could use some help here. Yesterday when I got in to start the car after work it seemed like the clutch pedal was catching lower than usual. I cranked the engine and started home figuring that it was just my imagination. A mile into the drive I knew I had a problem. The clutch was now catching even lower. Going over an overpass in backed up traffic I could barely get it in gear. At that point I had about two inches left in the pedal. I made it to the interstate and all was good until I went down my exit. I'm having a real hard time asking MSA to provide me with a quote and shipping estimate. I have emailed them over the past 2 weeks but now I get nothing at all. :surprised The order is in the region of 2k to them, so I wonder why they are not so responsive. Anyone had similar problems? Has anyone got a email address of the sales team of boss I could have? The exchange rate is very favourable and I want to get this resto moving. Or should I just go to VB and be done with it????

My Car Is 76'...... All Systems Are Completely Gone Through!! I Do Believe That The Tank Has The Baffles To Keep Fuel From Moving Away From The Pickup??? Oh k i got my 73 z (thanks texasz you da man bruddah) and ive got it in tip top shape everything on it is working great, except for my taillights. The hazzards turn signals(front and back) brake lights and reverse lights work. But i cant for the life of me figure out how to get my night driving taillights to work. The fuses are good the wiring is good what am i missing here fellahs??

Does anyone know how the locking mechanism on the drivers side door of a 72 240 works? I’m having problems with it, the key wont work and neither will the push down pin. Brian

i found this 280 on ebay. I did not bid and someone won, but they never followed up on the car. I contacted the owner, and i really want to buy it. I just want you guys to look at it and make sure the rust is not that bad. Hi all, I'm new to this broad and I have always wanted a 240z! However, I don't really know any technical or things to beware of when buying a 71 240z. I've recently seen a local paper's ad, all it says is 1971 datsun 240z 280 motor + 5speed tranny needs carbs and battery I want to be a bit more pro when trying to talk to the seller and to be able to determine if the car is worth buying, can you guys please give me some inputs of what i should ask him about the car? p.s. I thought 280 motor is fuel injected, why does it need a carburetor? thanks!~

My car has recently developed a misfire and I've been having a lot of trouble tracking it down. From what we've determined so far, it's a problem of not getting enough voltage to the plugs, as putting a new set of plugs fixes the problem for about a week, then it returns. Over the period of a day or so it will miss here and there, and then it all goes to sh*t.....missing at all revs/loads to the point the car is undriveable. There's a lot of carbon on all the plugs when it's like this, so it's not just one cylinder with the problem. Btw, pretty much everything in the ignition system was new as of 6 months ago.
