Could someone here please help me find the correct hub/wheel center bore. I`m getting ready to place a order for wheel adapters and would like to have them made to the factory specs. I tried the a search,but came up empty!!!!

Why is diff 1/2 inch too long

I have just installed a new R180 diff into my 240Z. The problem being is that it seems too long to fit. If I bolt the front cross member on, I can't get the propeller shaft on. I disconnect the front cross member, I can get the prop shaft on but the holes won't meet on the cross member and the chassis. It looks the same as the old one with the exception of the front flange pinion, old one is square, new one is round. Still same length though (42mm). It bloody 42 degrees here in Oz (that's 110 F in the shade) and I have been under this bloody car all day in the western sun. I am totally PXXXXd off!!! Turbo clutch to 71Z w 5speed

Hello, My question today is, what do I need to do to mate an engine with a turbo flywheel 240MM and turbo clutch on my 71z with an 83 5 speed tranny? I know I have to to get the clutch fork,release bearing for the turbo assem.,but what about my slave cylinder? I have a 4 speed right know but will be installing the 83 5 speed.Will the slave cylinder off of my 4 speed work with my 5 speed and turbo clutch assembly?:stupid:

I am in the process of putting in a new upgraded fuse box from MSA in my 71. The 2 big fat wires have identical plugs on them and identical coloring (white with red strip). Are these interchangeable? How do I tell which wire goes to what? TIA, Marty

I know this is probably a really simple (perhaps even stupid!) question, but are there any "easy" local-type sources for head bolts for a '73 240Z? I'm thinking Autozone/Kragen/NAPA kinds of places. I don't want to pull the head until I have everything I need, and I have no idea where to get new head bolts!

Both lights come on, but the left side is dim on hi and low beam. Fuses good, wiring pluged in corrrectly. Is there a seporate ground for the front ,lights? Please help:cry:

280zx radiator into 240Z

I just threw a 280zx radiator into my 240Z because the original one is shot. I can't put the bonnet on just yet, but it looks like it will hit the radiator because it sits higher. The 280zx is a 1983 model. Does anyone know off the top of their head if it will hit and how much it needs to be lowered by? Thanks Scott

Hey party people, ok problem # 968 :cross-eye I have an L24 with an E-88 head that has been totally re-built. I just adjusted the valves and I have the timeing down and i have the carbs synced and all my plugs look nice and brown except for #2! #2 is black and sooty. I checked for spark and its plenty strong the only thing that I can think of is that the intake valve is set wrong, but how can that be? 10 thousand's hot right!? that's what all the other intake valves are set at and the plugs are "golden brown". Could there be something wrong with the valve. allright people hook me up with your Z car wisdom. Matt-

Radio Bracket for 260Z

The Pioneer radio that came in my 260Z is basically held in place by the console. I'm sure there's supposed to be a bracket in there, as I saw mention of someone looking for one for THEIR 260Z. I'm hoping to talk hubby into going salvage yard hopping today. Any idea of what years of Zs would have a bracket that fits a 1/74 production date 260?

hey this is another dumb question! When is the 71 consedered late or early year? mines made in oct but a lot of late 71 parts wont fit. ive been told that a few 72 parts will fit it but im still looking.:stupid:
