As you may know I was in a really bad accident lately, and the car is all repaired... however, I need to find some parts before the car is finished. SO does anyone by any chance have an Passenger Bumper End for a '78 bumper or 280Z bumper end? 77-78? Also I really need some turn signals for the passenger side... one driver one passenger. (well side marker lights.. not turn signal) Please please, I need this very fast.. please contact me

While waiting to have the 260Z tuned up to pass emissions, we decided to toy around with our non-running '73 240Z. Although we bought it non-running, we were able to drive it home from the PO's house after spending what seemed like hours coaxing it to start with carb cleaner shot into the carbs. That was about a year ago, and the last time it ran. Now, it just cranks & tries to turn over. Yesterday, we pulled the carbs off of our (now once) running '71 240Z and put them on the '73, as the carbs that were on have seized nozzles. Still nothing. Today, we swapped over the coil & ballast resistor & bought a new condenser for the distributor. Earlier, the diz…

hi! I'm new to this forum. I own 2 1975 datsun 260z one registered and the other not. What i was wondering was dose anyone out their know of any restoration places? What i was thinking was ALL rust removed bear metal re-spray, new interior and either get the origional engine and gearbox etc reconditioned or go for a RB20DET conversion. Any advice on all the above would be helpful. PS. I'm based in perth western australia i would also like to get an idea of how many other 240's and 260's are driving arond in perth and other states? thanks your help and advise will be muchly appreciated.

I have a 2/1982 280zx. I'm not getting any power to the power windows. I have a Haynes manual and it shows a relay/fuse over by the fuse box in the passenger kick panel. And I can not seem to find it. All the fuse in the fuse box are good and power is passing through all of them. Does anyone have any suggestions or knows how to fix it I would greatly appriciate any advice I can find.

I did a compression test yesterday on my 240z and it was this: #1 - 180 #2 - 177 #3 - 180 #4 - 183 #5 - 180 #6 - 184 The #3 cylinder compression came up slowly (over 10 revolutions) compared to the other 5 cylinders. When the car is running I can pull the boot off the plug of cylinder #3 and there is no rpm change as there is with with the other 5 cylinders. The engine does not run smooth but it is not irratic either; the engine also runs well under acceleration. I am also getting a spark from the boot to the plug on cylinder #3. Do I need to check the timing? I don't understand why the compression is good across the board but it seems like the plug in cylinder #3 i…

What are these? My father-in-law gave me this car(73 240z). He unfortunately sustained a brain injury and can not tell me anything about the car. He put a dual webber carb on and now there are three hoses hanging off of the engine. I assume they used to connect with the old are filter. All three have similar connectors. Can anyone help me out. Should I connect them to something? Should I plug them? I tried to attach pictures of what I am talking about. Also does anyone know how much increase in horsepower dual webbers add to a stock 1973 240z. Thanks FLO

When I press the brakes in I hear air. The brakes are not working good at all. I try to stop and it just slowly stops. Even when Im not driving I still hear the air noise when I press the break. I had to punch on the brake to avoid rear ending this arse who cut me off and now they are not working properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
