Well I got my car done and finished up today with the new clutch. I hooked the clutch (slave?) cylinder to the side of the transsmission and all, and bled the system, but I'm still having to pump my clutch pedel to get the clutch to engage. What needs replaced? The master cylinder, or slave? or what is where and what needs reaplaced? Any help would be great, Thanks!

There's a trend amoungst the tuners or ricers (which i consider myself to be one). to install turbo rotery engines in 510s. Has this swap ever been performed into a z (no thanks i'll keep my L28). In this months issue of the ricer rag Sport Compact Car thay have such a 510 duking it out w/ eclipses, MrII, Supra and even a Viper. The 30yo car seems to old its own against such modern muscle. Also in this street car challenge is a 98 skyline GT-R. I thought the Skyline wasn't available stateside. Like the Biker said "its not what you ride it's that you ride"

I recently aquired a 72 240Z. It has a frozen right rear brake drum (from sitting for a while). I'm not familiar with the drum brakes and was wondering if someone can educate me on the best way to free up the drum. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Steve

my 71 240 with 14,000 original miles is giving me headaches. I have questions I need answers please. 1. When replacing antifreeze should i fill the radiator to the top if I don't have expansion tank and should I install one. should I leave a little space like an inch for expansion. 2. Why is it that the heat doesn't seem to be coming out of the correct vents when you put the sliders where there suppose to be. The cables are attached properly and the heat comes out of the defroster vents when the slider for heat is in the off position or something like that. Verrrrrry strange. 3. The idle adjustment screws are the two closest to each carb even though someone told me that t…

Hello everyone Been away to New Orleans for the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons Convention. Very interesting town, great food lots of sin. Anyway, I'm thinking of changing the struts and maybe the springs on my 240 any recommendations for a more bounce free stable ride. Also I'd like to get the hubcaps off the car and buy nice 14x6 wheels. I'm thinking of Panasports any other suggestions. Please get back Thanks Burt cardogman1

hey went for a long drive today, and this noise in the rear got sudenly louder... it used to be tame and quiet but it suddenly got louder and now its to loud to ignore... its a deh deh deh deh noise, only when in motion, and its the same speed as the rotation of the wheels etc coming from the rear area, it could be possible wheel bearings, but its more coming from the middle, and i'm pretty sure it isn't the differantial due to having the same noise, when i had my old 3.7 ratio diff in there, now i have a 3.9... i beleive my diffearntial mount is broken but can't see how it is causing such a noise, i've orderd one from nissan, i can't see any u-joints that are broken, w…

First i want to apoligise to the moderators and all members for posting here. If you wish to delete this post i perfectly understand. I´m still reading about Z cars but they are just to rare and expensive to buy here, so i found a Datsun 180B Coupe but i don´t know anything about it and i´m having trouble finding information in the internet. I would like to know the specs for this car, if it ist 4 or 5 speed gearbox, what are the exterior differences between a Coupe and a SSS Coupe. Once again i apoligise for this Off Topic subject. Regards, Rui

hey.... so much for this ebay header... i am so amazed at how it's shattered that i am not even upset about it... it's only 6 months old!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyways.... on all my previous cars with headers i've ALWAYS wrapped the header with ThermoTec header wrap and have never had any problems whatsoever.... ever. And now this.... so I purchased a new 6-1 header from MSA in Orange, CA yesterday and I am going to put that in now.. BUT: Has anyone had a similar cracking problem with an MSA brand header??? I ask because I'd of course like to wrap this one too unless someone tells me otherwise.... Waiting to hear what you all have to say. -e
