just been offered a 77 260z as a parts car. told the interior is excellent, runs but has rust. the car is $250 I dont really have the room for it but if Its a bargain I will take it. Can someone let me know haow many of the parts are interchangable and is it worth the money cheers Gavin

Whilst not a technical emergency, it is a moral emergency. I have tried to buy this Z car twice, the first time the owner wanted me to think about its worth, then make him an offer. So tonight I rang and made an offer just short of his asking price. Then the Son of a Bit%h has the nerve to turn around and say he needs some time (not a problem, needs to think about it) then says I want to put your offer to the guy who was intersted, see if he will pay a bit more. Well, with steam coming out my ears, i said call me back when you've thought about it. Anybody out there have any ideas or know how to replace the chrome moulding within the rubber moulding around the rear hatch glass without taking the window out and risk breaking the window and never getting another one with working defroster lines. Please let me know Regards cardogman Burt

Hey Gang---Can someone please help me out? I picked up a clean 240Z shell (plenty to be found here in sunny San Diego) a few months back to build a 240ZT cause I couldn't bare to experiment on my series one 240. The car came with some extra stuff. Anyway, I found this part (see attachment) in the car and I'm not too sure what it is. I'm thinking it's either a 280ZX fuel pump, or regulator; I'm not real sure though. Actually, I'm clueless. I would really appreciate your experience on this matter.

I'm looking at an early 240 (1969) this weekend and apparently it has a skyline box in it. According to the guy they bolt straight up without modification. Does anyone know if this is right? Are there any inherent problems with this mod?? Help!!

Who would have thought such a trivial device as this could cause so much stress. When I got my car the aerial did not work. I boguht a new one and put it in. After about 3 or 4 months it stopped working too. I bought ANOTHER one today and put it in and it all worked and everything was dandy. I turned the radio off to see my beauty go down and it did... a little TOO much. Now this one doesn't work either. IS there some trick I dont know about?! Is 80 AUS bucks a pop not enough to get a damn aerial that WORKS?! This is REALLY starting to wizz me off.

Help! I am trying to switch out my ignition cause the key is just too worn...soe I have removed 2 screws and there are 2 screws that I have no idea how to get them out!! they have a small round indentation in the center and that is it..! how do I get it out! thanks Kelly

I got the new used clock and I'm ready to test it before I start removing the glove box. Whats the best way to test this device. There are three wires coming off the back of this thing. So please let me know. What do you folks think of trading in this clock for the quartz version, you think it will be worry free and tell the correct time or will it devaluate the originality of my vehicle.
