Has anyone tried their redesigned "Premium" exhaust kit yet? It looks like they added flanges for a better fit. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/PEC27/15-6302

my '78 needs a new exhaust, but only from the premuffler back. MSA has a 130 dollar kit for the cali cars with the catalitic converters, and it's a direct bolt on for those. I emailed them and they said it might work with some changes, but i was wondering if the length of the cat, vs the length of the premuffler, from flange to flange, is the same, and if the flange itself is the same. if it is, i think i'll buy the cat-back system they have for the 280's

I havent driven my car alot, about 100 miles or so since getting it, its a long story as to why, havent gotten the tiltle yet, etc (one of those sad ebay tales, I know, I know). Anyway, I drove it about 1/2 hour a couple nights ago and dropped something in between the drivers seat and transmission tunnel. When I reached down to get it, the side of the seat bottom was hotter than you know what. The carpet on the tunnel was also hot, but not as much so. The passenger side was warm at best. I am wondering if this is from the exhaust running down that side? Any thoughts? Am I missing a heat shield or something? I looked underneath and saw what appeared to be a shield on the …

Helloo Not sure if any ones heard of this but I bought this Muffler System off EBAY today and from what I can tell it looks like a ANSA but I believe they call it a Trimill system or something. Does Trimill makes sense to any of you? I'm trying to determin what brand this is at least. It's 2 inch diameter set, comes with muffler with attached resonnator chrome tip and what seems like most of the exhaust line leading to the exhaust manifold. Not sure if this is New Old Stock NOS, or just plain New. Here goes a photo and a link to the auction page. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=020&viewitem=&item=300152518053&rd=1

This past week I took off my N-47 head and replaced it with a N-42 at that time I added a N-42 intake with the 60mm TB and a 3-2-1 header. I now have no compression in #6 the other 5 are at 130psi there is no oil in the coolant or leaking around the outside around the head gasket. I have not pulled it back off to see what is up but I feel the head is bad as the car ran just fine before I messed with it :surprised Right now I'm planning on putting the N-47 head back on. My question is can I use the square port header or should I put the round port header on? Thanks Eric
