After consulting with my fantastic mechanic- who told me to "Go drive that f****r already!" I set off last week on a road-trip to the Catskills and back from NJ. I covered 460 miles in 2 days. I drove almost non-stop in each direction- about 4 hours each session. The car ran *flawlessly* every second of the way! The sheer mileage I traversed, comprised of equal measures of both high-speed highway and unbelievably twisty back roads, all with constant changes in camber and altitude- measured in the hundreds of feet- was one of the most amazing adventures I have ever experienced. While trying out different exhaust extensions on my 1971 240Z to try and rid myself of cabin intoxication, I picked up my little video camera and shot this. The Targa Tasmania is an event held once a year on a southern Island State of Tasmania in Australia. Some of the guys from www.auszcar.com recently had a week long trip to the area finishing with a track day at Symmons Plains race track. from a motorkhana i did on sunday. first vid is one of my early drift practice runs (so much understeer i could only turn in and then had to clutch kick it to get it to turn. plus its fun ) and the second vid is of my last run for the day. this is the first time ive ever drifted a car in my life and it was great fun. car: 1977 260 L28 over 60 thou flat top pistons triple webers (black smoke in first run is from bad tune )
