Amusing CL ad in the Seattle area. $22,000. I have a "280z block", all I need is a "240z head". one of a kind 1973 Datsun240z From the ad - Garaged since 1990 when I bought it, fully restored 1973 240z. Simply put, 280z block, 240z head, balanced, lightened flywheel, Nismo headers with Flomaster exhaust, 5 speed transmission, 411 gears. Realistic estimated horsepower of 230. Only flaws are one crack in the dash, air dam has paint chip in it and some very, barely noticeable, dust in one small area of the paint that came out of the door jam when repainted. Hi everyone, I'm actively looking for the perfect 240Z (preferably, but also considering 260/280Zs) in Los Angeles. I got in touch with that guy on Craigslist (who was also recommended to me by a Z garage so he might also be a member of this forum as well, I wouldn't be too surprised haha) who is selling a modified 1972 240Z. My budget is limited and that one is a bit above what I'm looking for (9000$ , I can possibly lower the price a bit). The car is rust free, rebuilt hot rod motor, clutch, trans, suspensions. Saw this today. Fun to just view the pictures, especially if you like the color blue. Notice the new vents behind the painted over 240Z symbol and the ZX fuel system cooling fan, cooling the carbs. Wow. Wilby has lost a few horse over the years. I can't recall seeing a dealer ad that wasn't f'ed up somehow. Datsun Z Series 280ZX 280 Z | eBay Oh yeah. And the "280ZX starts right up" and it has a "new mass air flow sensor". I know. I'm getting grumpy in my old age.
