I found this Z on the Phoenix Criaigslist. Looks to be a solid, matching-numbers AZ project car with lots of extras including a Vintage Dashes refurbished 240Z dash, new front & rear disc brake kit and new stainless steel header and exhaust system. I don't know the owner/seller and I have not tried to contact him. Price seems a little high to me, but I'm sure the seller will listen to decent offers. Here's the link: https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/d/phoenix-1972-datsun-240z/7078006622.html Here are the details that the seller lists out about the car: "I purchased this a few years ago and just haven't had the time to work on it. I don't have to…

What appears to be the same person has two Z's for sale as "parts cars". The yellow shows up twice in different parts of Seattle, listed as a 240, and another time as a 260. Not sure if it's real, but the both are claimed to be running. https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/pts/d/seattle-73-datsun-240z/7067282425.html https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/pts/d/seattle-z-parts/7066352796.html https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/pts/d/seattle-datsun-260z-part-out/7067276015.html

While everyone is drooling over the green car on BAT, did you run across this one (link below)? Seems like a great price currently under $20k at the moment. One day left on bidding and this looks like a clean '71 to start off your love for the classic Z. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1971-datsun-240z-122/

I ran across a few early parts on eBay this morning. One being another hand throttle for a mere $2000.There are a few other parts listed and all pretty high priced. The ad says it is an auction broker out of GA that will be selling off a hoard or 69-70 parts from a 71 year old collector. Must be the retirement fund. They also claim to have a 69 barn find HLS30-00061 that will be posted in the future. Says they will be listing many items over the next year. https://www.ebay.com/itm/ULTRA-RARE-1970-Datsun-240Z-Twin-Choke-Throttle-Cable-Assembly-Matching-Knobs/293346720178?hash=item444cd3b9b2:g:ORIAAOSw9sdd2trd Cut and paste from the ad : Attention …

Wheels are stamped 10-1970 and the D hubcaps are the earlier version. Also includes the original spare wheel with its original Toyo tire. Seller is asking $3,500.00. Here's the link and the seller's description: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/pts/d/albany-datsun-240z-topy-wheels-early/7024858826.html 1970 Datsun 240Z OEM Topy steel wheels & early D hub cap wheel cover that includes spare. “Full set” I bought these wheels close to 10 years ago from a guy who bought a series 1 240z new in 1970 off the show room floor. He had the dealer pull these steel wheels off and install the common aluminum wheels. The dealer stuck these steel wheels & hub caps in a box a…
