In Bayfield, Colorado. I can see SOME small rust spots bubbling the paint but overall very clean, at least a 8/10 on the exterior. THIS IS NOT MY CAR! CALL THE # ON THE SIGN! 970 759 3023 I've driven this car. (The last time it was for sale about 4 years ago) It ran well but felt like it was missing 20-30% of its horsepower, clogged fuel filter, late ignition timing, clogged exhaust, something in that genre. Tired shocks/struts too. I'd be glad to go test drive it if someone not in the area is seriously considering the purchase. (Assuming I don't get it repainted and turn MINE into a parts car...)

I think this guys reserve wasn't meant. What is something like this valued at? Last I saw his first auction it was at $5700 with less than a day left. Datsun : Z-Series Turbo in Datsun | eBay Motors Exactly what I am looking for other than it isn't 2+2. But I can ignore that if the price is right!

Hey guys. I just posted a ton of Z parts for sale on eBay. I still have a lot more to be listed but probably won't get to them until later in the week. Datsun : Z-Series 240z in Datsun | eBay Motors looks a little rough but if you're into saving low vin # cars this one is pretty low number. strange rust on the rear quarter. never seen it in that place before. not a blue and gold plate so could be out of state or salvaged at some point.

Found this on craigslist, I spoke to him and it's off of a 1970 he had, which might explain the B-type shifter. I can't tell the difference, but thought maybe someone here with more knowledge would be interested. 240Z 5 Speed Transmission from 1970 Datsun

The rust on the hood and headlight buckets makes me doubt it was inside a covered garage... Garage find - 1975 Datsun 280Z It's hard to imagine the interior is in any better shape. Not really sure what you'd be buying here...

I saw this ZX alongside the highway somewhere in Kansas. $3200 asking price. From a distance it looked quite nice. Up close, the right front fender looks like it slid into a phone pole. Rust underneath the driver door (dogleg). 279,000 miles, although the (redone) interior is almost perfect. I think his asking price is too high; at $1200-1500 an enthusiast might acquire a fun driving machine they could fix up. Then again, who knows what condition the engine, clutch and tranny are in with 300k miles, not to mention the almost-certainly worn out suspension components. This was an interesting ad. I found it last night when I couldn't sleep and was fighting my "Diseaze" It is a good bit of money so it would really depend on what parts he has and whether they are worth $6k. If I didn't have so many projects I would go look at it. 1970 Datsun 240z

I'll be driving down to Chesapeake this weekend to look at this one. -1970 datsun nissan 240Z-OBO,trades?? It sounds like it's in pretty rough shape, but 240z are hard to come by around here, I am averse to buying anything sight-unseen, and my budget is ... modest. Mainly, I am hoping it runs and the rails are in good shape.
