2nd & 3rd Generation - S130/Z30/Z31

Hello all - I am restoring a 1981 280zx 2+2 and need right and left door seals and right side door body seal. I haven’t been able to find on a self anywhere. Anyone have these or know an option to “rig”?!?

Anyone have experience on converting ZX auto A/C to manual A/C?

Thought I had squeak in my Cassette player in my 1980 10th Anniversary 280zx after taking the cassette player out I noticed that the squeak was coming from a small fan located under the dash in between the cassette deck and the glove compartment - Applied some WD40 and the squeak stopped(for Now)- My question is what is this fan for, is it to cool the inside of the dash??? Hi folks. I am in Texas. Just bought this nice 82 280ZX and decided to join the Club. Its my first Z car and I am very excited about driving and maintaining it. Car is not in my possession yet, so I can't tell you first impressions as of yet, but will soon. I just picked these up from the original owner who said when he bought his 74 260z new it was a dealer option in CA. He still had his 74 in the garage. Anyway, from the research I’ve done Appliance was started in the 50’s and sold or transitioned to Japan for manufacturing. Mine say Japan on them. Does anyone know what year Datsun started offering these wheels as a dealer option? Luckily I got all 4 center caps too.

82 NA, hesitation during acceleration. Runs fine at highway speeds, intermediate speeds other than acceleration. Car sat for many years and finally back on the road. New injectors, new EGR, 02 sensor, alternator, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel rail, fuel tank, cap, rotor, plugs, wires. Water temperature is normal, vacuum lines are intact. All electric connectors are tight, but some have the 30 year curse on them where the connector boots are deteriorated. ECU light operational (fast blinking). Have not opened up the AFM or changed ignition module. Doesnt seem like a distributor problem, but I'm not an expert. Thanks for any help.

While a distributor is on order for my daily, I've been driving my '80 ZX to work for about 2 days, or roughly 10 miles per day. No problems. Yesterday after it sat at work for about 10 hours(only a slight incline parking,not a steep incline), I went to put it in reverse and the clutch pedal stayed at the floor. There was no fluid visible at the filler cap of the slave reservoir. There was also no fluid visible on the ground. I added some brake fluid, worked the clutch a few times and it went back to normal operation. I thought for sure I had a leak somewhere so I brought it home and put it in the garage. Are EGR valves fast acting? Meaning when you test them (finger) method, do they close fast? Thanks.

So my vacuum advance silinoid is leaking and i need a new one but from the hours of research ive done, everyone seems to have it out of stock or discontinued and ive tried napa, forum post part numbers, and just searching 280zx vacuum advance and a bunch of others and nothing... does anyone know where to get one?
