Dudes, nice to be here, I'm from the other side of the pond and recently purchased my '81 280zx in red - I'll try to post up some pics soon. Anyways it's got the MSA kit on it atm, which I'm not too fond of. The rear bumper sticks out too much whereas I prefer the flat short finish and same with front. Question is are there any companies out there doing 240z/260z style bumpers. I also want the chrome bumpers at the front and rear and am thinking of borrowing these from a similar sized car as they are nigh impossible to get from here!

Ok, I have a 1983 280zx n/a that has been sitting for around 20-something years......oddly enough, after sitting for so long, it started right up with hardly any hesitation. the electronics and everything worked fine. however, it does need new brakes, as the rotors are rusted and the calipers are stuck. also, it is a little rusted (im gonna go ahead and treat it so that it doesn't spread, as this tends to be a huge problem with older Z's), and some of the hoses are worn out. but other than the brakes, hoses, ignition system, oil change, and air filter, what else do u guys think might need to be replaced? i know im missing something here

hey guys next week im starting design and fabrication of a rear sump primarily to fit an RB25DET NEO with R31 mounts in a S1 S130 (recirculating ball type power steer) but back far enough to also fit on an RB20DET silver top with R31 mounts S2 S130 (rack and pinion power steer) and most likely going to try have it so no modification is needed to the block (like drilling a hole so it is rear pick up - all though a custom pick up will be needed) initial estimates on price are $600-$700 AUD we are located in south brisbane australia and if you would like to have one made pm me or post here :> leon please get in contact with me soon as we only want to do group orders :>…

I hate to do it, but I've listed my 1983 280ZX Turbo in the classifieds. I bought that car in Texas in 1990, and I've taken great care of it ever since. When is it time to turn loose of a car you've owned for 20 years? It's tough. I have that ZX and a 1958 Fiat Spyder roadster...and I don't need two 2-seat sports cars. The Fiat was my 1968 high school graduation present, and it has been in storage since 1973. I keep wanting to finish it - but it seems like every weekend, I have to do something to the ZX or one of our other cars. Here's a Fiat promo photo of my Spyder: Now both daughters have moved out, but the ZX still takes most of my available time. The Fiat …

Hello fellas, Has anyone come across this issue. My 83 280zx has started to pop the speedo cable part that plugs into the speedometer. It has popped three so far. The cable that came with it and the two from my other z's. Actually not that I remember i bought another one from a junkyard, so the count is four. I have had the transmission rebuilt, and replaced the gauge cluster and I still have the issue. Could it had been that the cables where old. I'm going to order a few new ones and hope they hold. Any advice would be appreciated.
