hey all... i'm looking for a few parts for an 83 ZX 2+2 if you have some or know where to find them cheap. i need: both doors or drivers door and guts for passenger drivers side front fender both front floor pans rear cargo bay floor pan carpet throughout(gray or black preferred cuz thats the interior scheme) (preferably black) dash i'm sure there will be more as progress is made, so just hit me up. thanks guys!

Hello Everyone, Recently I had the opportunity to purchase a 280ZXR California car and have begun restoration process. I am currently working on a full reproduction stripe kit for the car and was wondering if there are others that might be interested since I will probably be producing several when the time comes. I am in the decal business and have access to all that i need to produce them once I have completed the art files. It will take awhile to complete to insure sizing and color accuracy are correct but thought I would test the waters to see if there is any additional interest. Regards, Phil

My z project winding down after 15 months in the body shop. Body work and paint came out great. Every piece of glass,doors,hood,hatch,bumpers,all removed in process. Taken down to bare metal. Kind of a puzzle getting it back together after being apart so long. Now trying to find rubber seals for around the doors. I can't understand why the 79-83 280zx is being neglected as far as reproduction seals and parts in general. There seems to be plenty of demand. Anybody parting out 79-83 with some good rubber around the doors, let me know. Hope to post pics of my z soon. Think you guys are gonna like it. Does anyone know if someone makes frame rail kits for a ZX like the ones Bad Dog Parts makes for the early Z's ? Mine are showing a speed bump or two and I'd like to fix them before painting the car.

I recently got a 1979 2+2 and the previous owner lied about the condition and it was a special case so it was hard to say no to it, ever since I bought it I just keep finding more and more wrong with it. One of those is the window seals being dry rotted, I saw black dragon doesn't have it listed anymore for the s130. I checked z store and the site says Nissan has stopped supplying it, I found z source and they have it listed for about 500 or so. That's a lot more than I remembered earlier, so I figured maybe there is a temporary fix, but so far I can only find fixes for house windows. It's not a severe leak mostly when I wash it or if it's just sitting in the rain, but I …

I have a '79 280zx, and it has the center "280zx" taillight panel on it, which I want to keep, and had the chrome bumpers which were in bad shape. I bought 2 parts cars , an '80 and an '82. One had a xenon airdam which I'm using,(you can see I have the front end on in my avatar) and I want to use the bumpers off of the '82. My questions are, will it look right with the license plate mounted on the plastic bumper? Are there any companies that make an aftermarket bumper that has a license plate mount? Thanks

The little "grille" underneath the windshield wipers, which admits fresh air to the HVAC system and contains the wiper "transmission." How or where does that drain rain away? To the sides, or are there drain tubes which might be clogged? I'm getting wet carpets, the leak APPEARS to be under the dash near the steering column, and it does NOT seem to be the windshield seal.

Hello all! Im new to Z's but not to cars. I restoring the girlfriends first car its a 83 280zx. I have rust and other body issues to deal with and want to install a body kit. I have tried to find pics of an install to see how the front cover of the bodt kit mounts or what it replace's. both lt & rt lower corners under the bumper are in bad shape and from the looks of the body kit, the bumper goes over all of that. does anybody know if that is correct. It is a xenon ureflex kit. Any help would be great, Thanks.
