Folks, Strictly speaking, this was two days ago. I snapped off the driver's side rear view mirror. No particular reason for it, just snapped it right off. Luckily I had a left side mirror and a good right side base and by putting them together, got one whole spare. Doesn't everyone have a spare (or two) rear view mirror around? The replacement doesn't match the passenger side, but neither did the other one, so no loss there. Chris

I am in the process of of hanging plastic before i paint the underside. I dont have a painting booth so im hanging up plastic, it will work for what im doing for now.

Today I pulled the 3.9 geared diff from a 84zx with 166,xxx miles and earlier I pulled the 1981-83 close ratio transmission from the same car I got the diff. from also pulled new throttle linkage, hood access vent hinge things hat go buy the hood(gonna blast em and send em to MSA to get the cool vented ones they sell) and about 1000 other miscellaneous parts from a 76 280z thats only got about a week to go at the Junkyard, HELL YAH got my close ratio an optimal geared diff just gotta get a rebuild switch out a few parts and get that sucka installed. Me and my dad are building a Car rotisserie, we got the front done and starting working on the back. The front post has about 3 inches between each bolt hole so i have plenty of adjusement. After we get the rotisserie done we will paint the underside and go from there.

Skip to 3:40 for the race, everything before then is getting to the strip / harassing a honda driver because he was driving his car around bouncing the rev limiter all night in front of girls I was not yelling VTEC YO at him, it was my passenger. I raced my friends 3000gt, and won by about .70 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KV3sBBQdRmc it was a great time, i've never had so many comments and questions about my car in one place. Atleast 300 people were checking it out all night, crowds gathered around it!

Yesterday I pulled the engine on my 77 after lots and lots of waiting and preparing it piece by piece! Got caught up a few times, and had some very scary moments but now she's out and ready to be given a deep cleaning, along with the engine bay. Since I got the Z and started on my plan to give her a really deep clean and restoration there have been quite a few times when I've thought maybe I should have just got her running and skipped all this nonsense, but the deeper I get into it the more I see that this is the right way and the more pleased I am with my plan which is very motivating to say the least!
