Has anyone here installed the inner window fuzzies onto the door panel? I saw some old posts that talked about potential fixes but nothing definitive. The original ones were stapled on with a very heavy staples. The squeegees were attached to the outside stainless piece in the same manner. Is there an adhesive that will remain attached?

If a body seal is still good, can it be peeled off its adhesive and reused? I'm asking generically, like in the instance of having a shell repainted or something of that nature.

My air dam is pretty banged up so I need to make a decision on which style to go with for a new one. I am not a fan of large front air dams. From what I can find by searching around the forums this leaves me with very few choices. I can go back with a stock replacement (expensive!) or I can go with an Aero Lip from MSA. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/7AD1/50-1420 I've been reading old posts and haven't found much information on this style air dam. It doesn't seem to be all that popular. Can anyone comment on the quality of the fiberglass in this part? I don't want to pay a bunch of cash to have a body shop rework a poor quality part.

So my z sat outside, semi-neglected, in the driveway for 10 years. I've recently driven it across canada, and figure that it could use a rust check. It will be another two years before I graduate, recieve a rather large promotion, and am able to afford some nice sound deadening and insulation. I figure if this is going to be my daily driver in the summer, we better stop thinking about weight. I can buy a 240z to SCAA modify at a later date, and worry about fibre-junk and drilling my alumimum blots out at a later date. I have more important things to spend my $ on while in college (electrical, gas, and food [in that order]). But I can't leave what I know is certain to be r…

When my 240Z got painted the headlight cowls were off the car. During the painting process the cowl bolts got a good dose of paint. What is the best method for cleaning up the threads ? Thanks, Jay

Well, my body shop just finished blocking and priming my Z. Looks pretty good, he had one sag that he will cleanup when he scuffs it. I can't wait to get this back together and start driving it!

Some of you may have sen the thread on hybridZ about this but I am interested in what others would like to see. I have made a LOT of sketches and here they are: I call this one "maverick" I call this one "La Belle" this one is just for fun this one is a bit E-type-ish I would like to hear what you think and would like to see. Maybe some people could show some of their own sketches of what they would like to see in a new kit. OTM

This weekend was able to get the car on the lift for an exhaust tweek that turned into a new system from the header back, but that is another thread. Here are some photos of the underside of my car as unmolested 37 year old patina. The only thing done has been a cleaning with a hose. Everything else is mostly all original, including the diff & tranny leak. The garden hose quick fix has been repaired. Bonzi Lon

I picked this picture off the Arizona Z Car web site. I really like the front spoiler and am trying to identify who makes it. I'm pretty sure the car belongs to Will Robertson in Scotland. I've left a couple of emails for him, but so far no answer. So if you know who makes this spoiler, I'd like to know! Thanks.

Hey guys: If you're sitting in your Z and you have the window rolled down, it's nice to put your elbow out the window, right? The stainless strip that your elbow would be resting on pops off on my car, on both sides. The resto shop didn't notice this, but I have no idea how to keep them on. When I shut the door, I have to hold onto them, pushing down a bit. Any ideas? Jared

http://www.automotivetouchup.com/ I bought a can of 901 silver spray paint from this company. I wasn't expecting much but I got a pleasant surprise. It's a perfect match. Just thought I'd pass that on.
